Physicians Urgent Care is the only clinic in Williamson County that is locally-owned by emergency room physicians. In 2011, there were almost no options in Middle Tennessee for patients who were sick but not sick enough to be in the ER. They couldn't get in with their primary care doctor or it was the weekend or after-hours.
We were experiencing that ourselves with our own families. All of us worked in the emergency department and we knew it also isn't great for the ER to be bottle-necked with sicknesses that weren't truly an "emergency." Our vision was to start a walk-in clinic that could see 90% of what we were seeing in the ER.

Services
Physicians Urgent Care is locally owned and operated by six emergency room physicians. We employ 25 area providers to see patients in our clinics. They are comprised of Medical Doctors, Doctors of Osteopathy, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. All have multiple years of experience in urgent care clinics.
We're happy to accept both insurance payments and self-payments from those who are not insured. We currently accept most major insurance policies, although we do not accept Medicaid or TennCare. We found that a majority of our patients do not have a primary care provider or struggle with scheduling an appointment because most providers in the area are booked out 6-12 months. To meet the needs of our patients, we have added primary care appointments.

I visited the Brentwood location on Saturday and saw Dr. Young. He was patient, kind and very thorough. I had a different symptom arise on Monday and he requested I come to his Franklin office for a follow up and again was top notch. Staff at both locations were extremely professional and caring. I can only imagine how burnt out the staff and physicians are with the covid surge on top of cold/flu season but you would never know it. They are wonderful and I would recommend their care over and over again.

I am so impressed with the staff at this clinic. From front desk to providers all were exceptionally professional, personable, and efficient. I visited on a day that was very difficult for all.urgent cares due the sudden COVID surge combined with holiday schedules. I visited 3 other clinics where I was turned awaybefore finding this one. The stress of the day was evident at the other clinics -- I was turned away by a rude security guard at one, a dismissive staff member at another and by an apologetic nurse at another. The relaxed, helpful attitude of the staff at Physicians Urgent Care was amazing

We came to town to stay with family and attend a Titan’s game. We had just gotten to town on Saturday and my husband began to get sick. With some strange symptoms and a fever we decided we better get a Covid and flu test. We were so thankful we could come to the clinic late on a Saturday. The front desk staff ,as well as providers, were all friendly and so helpful.

We were in town from Delaware and visiting family when late in the day I decided to get checked for a sore throat and of course possibly COVID. They scheduled me and got me in on short notice. Each member of the staff was very professional and accommodating in each of their areas. I cant say enough good about them and certainly would go back should I need to.

My husband and I had tried 3 walk-in places for my specific concern but due to booked appointments and Covid tests/vaccines, we were turned down. They also lacked X-ray machines and another office was too far away. The day was closing and Physicians Urgent Care set me up to at least be seen. Office help and especially (my physician) were very helpful. Of my 3 specific problems (post surgery, a fall & and a new increasing pain-all ran over each other) yet, he gave me a thorough understanding of what to do, what he did, a prescription and how to follow up. He checked more than I expected and asked

We had a great time with the doctor & the nurse. But the person at the front desk was not nice at all. Even the doctor & nurse said to ask at the front desk for the medical note for school for 2 days, guy at the front desk was so fuzzy to give the note. Seriously?!?! I am an East Indian but you may need to keep someone local at the front desk. Other than that , the service was good!! It was a last minute appointment.. we didn't have a long wait.. Thank you!!

I received great care while out of state for thanksgiving. All of the staff were polite and helpful, the doctor had excellent bedside manner and worked with me to decide what to do for my treatment. It was also a very quick trip even though it was right before the holiday. I really appreciated getting great care when I had a health issue while away from home.
