Southwest Welding LLC began in 1985 in the small village of Southwest, which is southwest of Goshen, Indiana. It was started in a 1500 square foot building as a small welding business servicing the local agricultural & industrial businesses. Eventually Southwest Welding bought a CNC plasma cutter with capacity to cut 1'' steel plate.
In 2007 they bought their first laser cutting machine to keep up with the customer demand of quality parts. In 2011 the laser cutters were moved to a 7200 square feet facility in nearby Wakarusa. In the following years three additions were added to that building and it is now over 32,000 square feet.
