Wagner Hearing Aid Centers
Wagner Hearing Aid Center was founded in 1959 by Robert V. Wagner. Mr. Wagner had worked for several years in Roanoke for Beltone Hearing Aid Company. He started a Beltone franchise in Charlottesville and subsequently expanded to Harrisonburg and Staunton. In 1971, he incorporated as an independent (non-Beltone) multi-line dispenser in order to offer a broader product line.

In the 1980's, he opened part-time offices in Culpeper and Waynesboro. For several years, there were part time offices at Fredericksburg and Luray. Mr. Wagner was always an innovator in the hearing aid industry. He was one of the first to move his business activities from door-to-door sales to a fixed office location, operating from doctor and client referrals.

I visited Mr. Wagner's Harrisonburg office yesterday and asked him to adjust my hearing aids, if possible. I obtained them from a Hearing Aid dealer in Moorefield, WV and had to return them to that person several times. Frankly, my wife had to shout at me so I could hear....even with two instruments...! Mr Wagner made some adjustments to each… instrument and I was amazed at how well they then were working and helping me! FAR better then when I first obtained them from the Moorefield dealer!! My wife is so happy that she no longer has to "shout' and repeat things several times to communicate

I have used Wagner Hearing Aids for over 50 years and have never had the slightest desire to go anywhere else. I know that they would never sell me what I don't need, and their audiologist, Linda Swinson, is quite simply the best in the business.
