Paulette came to holistic healing after 20+ years in the corporate world. Faced with a lay off, she decided to make a career change and has never looked back! Paulette is the owner of Holistic Lakewood and a Licensed Massage Therapist. Services include relaxation massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, hot stone massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and Reiki.
All of the massage therapists at Holistic Lakewood are licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio. We are specially trained in providing therapeutic massage through various means. People seek massage therapy for a variety of reasons - to reduce stress and anxiety, relax muscles, rehabilitate injuries, reduce pain, and promote overall health and wellness.
Reiki is the ancient Japanese practice of managing the flow of energy in all things that have life. The goal of Reiki is to break down energy blocks, expand energetic flow and increase energetic balance within ourselves and in relationship to our environment and experiences. The trained practitioner uses Reiki to help clients create and reach goals for change and growth.
Essential oils have been used for thousands of years to enhance physical and emotional well-being. This 60-minute therapy is a wonderfully rejuvenating and deeply relaxing topical application of therapeutic essential oils. Raindrop Therapy combines several holistic modalities to bring balance to the body in a non-invasive manner.
The BioMat is a high-quality infrared heating mat used in healing practices all over the world. It has helped thousands of people regain their health from a variety of conditions. At the core of its technology is the combination of three healing components: Far Infrared Light, Negative Ions and Amethyst Crystals.

I've been getting massages from Ava for months since a nerve injury. I'm since health but go back regularly because she does such an incredible job, and is one of the most kind and healing people I've ever met. I recently had my first reiki session ever with her, and felt like everything she communicated throughout the session was both helpful and accurate. The studio itself is really welcoming and warm, and other experiences with staff have been positive.

I had the first professional massage of my life at Holistic, on the day I turned 35. It was the best present I could have given myself! We forget about the power of touch. For a long time, I lived in an isolated place in Japan, where I didn't know anyone and the society isn't exactly known for their hugging. Then, the pandemic hit. So, I'd been without human contact for so long that when Ava worked at my tired muscles, she soothed away so much more than tension. She (perhaps unknowingly) reminded me of the power of human connection and this inspired new hope in me.

The lady I had was very informative and valued my comfort level. I chose to get cupping along with my massage. As a first time person to massage and cupping my suggestion do not get the cupping. Cupping hurts like bad my body was hurting something fierce afterwards.

First time here for a massage and I will never go anywhere else now! Truly the most amazing massage I’ve ever had. Alyssa listened to my concerns and delivered an unbeatable experience. She is a talented massage therapist and I cannot wait to go back. Very calming atmosphere, super comfy massage table, and she had great energy. Will not be returning. The background is I have severe pain in my neck, I put on the form ‘ firm’ as far as pressure was concerned and received the opposite of that. Not a big consult prior to the massage just hey do you want a relaxing massage? Sure of course. But ask me more questions about the level of pain I’m in, previous experience with massages and just do better with communication with clients. I called earlier in the day to see if I could get in earlier, pretty sure the owner of the place told me ‘I could make it.’ I’m sorry— you do not know me nor do you know my history
