We found Horse Creek Winery through Harvest Host-so glad we did! The wine tasting came first. The wine was wonderful; the ladies at the bar were so hospitable. Then the Bistro. Our waitress came to the table immediately, the food was served quickly (along with a bottle of wine), and was absolutely delicious! We just cannot say enough good things about this winery. Now we try to stop by for a few bottles of wine to take home anytime we are in the area.

My visit here was to the Cafe/Restaurant that is in the Lobby. I did not have the chance to do the tasting/tour of the Winery itself. My Companion on this visit said that the Menu was lacking by precovid standards. The food was good for what it was. The service was okay. In our server's defense they were hosting a Wedding reception out on the Patio. If the chance arises I am willing to give them another shot.

My sister and I dropped by for wine tasting and had an amazing time! Shelby was very professional and knowledgeable about the different wine options, history of the location and the wine making process as a whole. We will definitely stop by this winery going forward on our way down to Florida. Great experience and thank you to Shelby for the wonderful time!!

I was there on July 18th. I thought the service was very poor. The young lady working had a crowded bar so we (3 of us) sat at a table. When we finally got waited on, she handed us the wine selections and said pick 5. When we finally got served, there was no talk about the wines - just poured the wine and left. Glasses were not rinsed, just turned upside down on a napkin. Said this was due to Covid, but still gasses should have been rinsed or given new glasses. Obviously there was still wine residue in the glasses. They were out of their branded glasses. I will not go back.

I was on a road trip a few years back and stopped at this winery. I'm not usually a big wine drinker but I found 2 wines here I still crave to this day - Blackjack and Big Red. Since I live in AZ, it is almost impossible to get the wine but recently I had a friend buy a home in Waynesboro Georgia. I was able to arrange to have the wine delivered and my friends agreed to bring it home to me. I ran my request through Ericka Watson who is the Manager at this winery and she was WONDERFUL to work with. I am happily enjoying my wine and was so pleased with the service of this winery I wanted

We noticed this winery on our way to Reed Bingham State park a few weeks ago and decided to stop in one day.
First, great location next to I-75. Ample parking with large spaces (our dually fit nicely). Upon entering the large white front doors you are greeted with the wine tasting/bar on the right hand side. We chose to walk through to the bistro to grab a table and order before grabbing our wine selections to try. We were promptly given menus and our drink order taken by a friendly waitress. We ordered cokes and waters. All were served cold, fresh and quickly. Refills abounded as well without

I would go out of my way to stop here again. Our meal and service were fantastic. I had the shrimp po boy and my husband had the burger- both great but the burger's smash patties were really out of this world delicious. Even the kids meals were delicious and so reasonably priced. The wine was great and they also had some local brews on tap that we enjoyed. Live music. Dog friendly patio. Beautiful vineyard view. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Wine is ok at best but the food is horrible.. I know what you are thinking who goes to winery to eat but when you got Ribeye and shrimp on the menu you should at least know how to cook them. The shrimp were awful and the steak was a greasy mess. Way over priced and food was just not good. We could have eaten at most places twice for that amount. The place could use a good cleaning and you will leave there smelling like you were in the kitchen cooking yourself.
Pro's: The service from the staff was good and the wine slushees are ok
Con's: everything else and over priced food

Georgia has over 50 wineries, mostly in the north Georgia mountains. Horse Creek is the finest winery south of Atlanta.
All the wines we've tried are muscadine or fruit based. But unlike so many, Horse Creek's are beautifully crafted and not over sweet. Every trip to Florida starts with a stop at Exit 41 for a case of wine and a stop on the way back to fill the case back up to 12 bottle.s
Blackberry (Blackjack) is our favorite. Smooth and fresh. Peach (Traveller) is peachy, sweet and a wonderful dessert wine. Both are more fruit foward than muscadine. I nice difference from

Nice distraction while traveling on the interstate. Sadly the restaurant was closed even though the Georgia welcome center said they were open. This winery offers a tasting room normally. The bar and shop inside offered an eclectic atmosphere & ambience. The items were very reasonably priced.
The scenery is beautiful around the property. Would like to try and stop for a bite on my drive back home. Bought some tasty souvenirs.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our visit here. We started with a tasting and really loved most of the wine. There's something for every pallet, sweet to dry.
We had the Chardonnay and the Hahira Red Supreme with our dinner over in their restaurant. We sat outside overlooking the back side of the beautiful vineyard and enjoyed some great live music. Missed happy hour but it's from 4-7
This place is located right off of 75 so it makes for a great road trip pit stop and we will definitely return!

I absolutely love this winery! The people are so nice and sweet. The deals are unbeatable, the tastings are $6 for 5 glasses of wine and a wine slushy. During happy hour the wings and drinks are 50% off. The food is good and I really enjoy coming here when I have the chance to. I recommend it to anyone who wants to drink good wine and relax.

The food was very good, I had the 12oz Angus steak and it was cooked to perfection, my salad was well put together and very tasty broccoli wasn't overcooked and the hot biscuits with cinnamon butter was a treat. They need a better hosting and wait staff. After waiting for a while to be seated we stuck our heads in the door so someone would see us, ounce we got to our table they immediately brought out the buttered biscuits but we had to wait for over 15 mins before our waiter came back to check on us then another 10 mins after that before he took our order. But the decor is very nice. The wine
