Houseboating is one of the best ways to spend a vacation, and Shasta Lake is one of the best lakes in the nation for it. At Holiday Harbor, we offer a houseboating experience that is sure to delight you and your family and guests. We make sure that our houseboats on Shasta Lake are stocked with all the right amenities.
The best rental toys on Shasta Lake are located at Holiday Harbor's Toy Box. We want your vacation to be memorable, so come on, cut loose, and enjoy yourselves. We have tournament ski boats with wakeboard towers, open bow ski boats, Hyperlite wakeboards, knee boards, and water skis-and for the very adventurous, the Sky Ski.
Holiday Harbor has 27 tree-shaded sites with full hookups by the water's edge. The park contains laundry facilities, showers, restrooms, private docking, and a swim area. Some tent camping is permitted and advance reservations are strongly suggested. Please contact our reservation office for more information regarding site policy and restrictions.

Disappointed. Very friendly staff, but old failing equipment that could not keep up with the extreme summer temperatures. Boat broke down twice on the lake and we had to call for repairs. Continuous issues with the boat and poor AC performance forced us to abandon our vacation early. With over 2 days remaining on our rental, we were refunded less than $250.

Had an alright experience with them. House boats are old 30 plus years. So we arrive for check in when we’re suppose to3:30 pm. We are told they’re working on the boat and they’ll tell us when they’re done . It takes about 3 hours for them to finish. What they were doing was swapping out a engine and temping in a generator. After that one of the light, radio and horn wasn’t working so they said they’d come back on the next date to finish it. Three guys had to come back and forth to finish the light. The second day we were leaving a cove and lost hydraulic pressure for the steering wheel

We rented the Marquis houseboat from Holiday Harbor and had a blast! Plenty of room for 5 adults, clean and comfortable and loaded with amenities. Lake Shasta was beautiful even with the low water conditions, and we were able to find plenty of privacy to "park" and enjoy our time together. The staff at Holiday Harbor are the best - friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back.

Holiday Harbor is a great place to rent a house boat. The main reason we would come back is the staff and the overall upbeat attitude at the harbor. They made the transfer from your car to the water and back as easy as possible. Their staff is extremely helpful. The only reason I didn't give it a five star review is that the house boats could use a little TLC - like finishings - counter tops, window screens, refrigerators/freezer (one of ours was super cold and the other barely worked). The important stuff like motor, lights, electric, grill, and water all ran smoothly which is all you really need

We had a great experience renting a houseboat at Holiday Harbor! They were all so nice and helpful before, during and after our trip. I was calling with questions before we arrived and they were always pleasant. Sammy went over everything during orientation and he went out of his way to help us when we were heading out of the marina and when we returned.
