I am a native Oregonian from Hood River. I graduated from PCC in 1997 and have been in the dental field ever since and I have worked for Dr. Radakovich since 2008. I enjoy working here because it gives me the opportunity to help others. Outside of work I love spending time with my husband, son and dog Abbey.

Please note that in most cases the patient is seen first for consultation to review the health history, decide on the most appropriate anesthesia and treatment plan, and schedule the surgery at a separate appointment.

Some patients who wish to have dental implants have some issues with their gum tissue. Healthy gum tissue, like healthy bone tissue, is critical to the success of the dental implants. If you don't have healthy gum tissue, there can be some serious aesthetic issues with your dental implant placement procedure.
At Joe Radakovich DMD we've helped our patients with missing teeth restore their smiles with a variety of dental implant solutions. Implants not only restore oral aesthetics, but they also improve oral health and strengthen underlying jawbone. The post is the actual implant part. It is surgically placed into your jawbone.
To complete a dental restoration after extraction, a bone graft may be necessary. Bone begins to atrophy immediately following the extraction of a tooth, in fact two-thirds of the atrophy that will occur will happen within the first three months of extraction. When a Portland patient wants the space filled with a dental implant, which is the preferred tooth replacement, a simple bone graft can be done quickly and easily.

Lovely practice with attention to detail. Came to Dr. Radakovich's office for the removal of my wisdom teeth and they were able to have me in for a consultation in two days and scheduled surgery a week and a half later. Dr. Radakovich is very kind and knowledgeable and prepared me well for what to expect before, during, and after surgery. Special thanks to Lori the dental assistant. She made my time there very comfortable and called the following Monday, as well as sent a note. I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs oral surgery.

Four months after the implant process of April 2019 I returned for the digital scan. The assistant tried to place something into the site and was unable to do so. I sat patiently in the chair while she left the room twice to consult with the Doctor. The second time she left she said, "Don't move." Meanwhile my mouth was open and my jaw was aching, I was sweating and anxious. The Doctor came in and hit the site with an instrument causing a loud bang and a metal piece dropped out. My son (17) had 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Radakovich recently. It was easy to get an appointment for the short consult and his staff explained every detail, including the cost, very well. We were able to make the extraction appointment quickly (before school started) and were given instructions on exactly what to expect pre and post operation. I was very pleased when Dr. Radakovich called the evening of the surgery to check on how our son was doing. I would highly recommend this office for any dental work needed!

This place deserves the 5 stars!! They are so kind and friendly! I had to get my bottom wisdom teeth out that have been a pain this last month. I am very scared of needles but Dr.Radakovick was super quick and i hardly felt it! The procedure went great and the staff are super kind and caring, they gave me a care bag to go home with! Reusable ice pack, capstick,water and some other things they also wheel you out to ur car! Love this place and would definitely recommend!

I went to Dr. Radakovich to get my wisdom teeth removed. He and his staff made me feel amazingly comfortable and at home. From consultation to after surgery, I received exemplary care. They thoroughly explained how the procedure was going to go, what to expect during after care and answered all of my questions.

I had a sinus lift, bone graft and dental implant placed by Dr Radakovich and I had a great experience. It was done with local anesthesia and was completely pain free. The procedure took much less time than I expected and the post op discomfort has been minimal. I highly recommend Dr Radakovich. He and all his staff are wonderful, very competent, kind and reassuring. I will definitely go back to him if I need another dental implant or oral surgery in the future.

I went to Dr. Radakovich for a second option on a tooth that felt normal that a Gentle Dental dentist said I needed surgery on. After consultation and monitoring Dr. Radakovich determined it was a scar from a previous root canal and I did not need surgery. I appreciate his honesty, and professional attentiveness. His staff is great too!
