Ok, 68 year old husband of Jane and I have to say this is my first bad written review. We built our new home a year ago, used Hayfield windows and doors. First half the screens didn’t fit and waited months to get that rectified but did get repaired. Six months after moving in the sliding patio started to warp, the screen would barely work and had to slam the glass door to shut. Six months later after talking to numerous people from this company I finally get their answer. The house shifted (no, every other door and window work fine), then they claim it was my 30 year experienced builder installed

Our home was built in 1903, we pretty much had all original 40 windows. The heating bill was crazy and cooling this old brick home was expensive. Had a window a/c in almost every well travel space! They… finished today and one a/c on main floor and one a/c on second floor and it feels like central air. That’s important, but when you sit at one of the windows and look outside and see the beauty I have never seen before. The glass we had was wavy and distorted all views, now it’s crystal clear. I keep telling Mark and Chad Augedahl how much I love these windows and their craftsman

I had several casement and sliders installed. Installer was great. The windows themselves might be ok, but the quality control is terrible, at least for the batch I got. Every slider had at least one stripped out latch screw. And more than half the screens don't fit! Most are simply too small and leave a gap around at least one side of the screen frame, and some had the mesh installed too tightly, causing the frame to bow inwards. Several weeks later got replacements that either were no better, or a different design that are nearly impossible to install without standing outside (some of these are

My house is a year old and the quality of these windows is pretty poor but the screens are junk. 5 of them don't fit a couple others barely fit. Couple windows have condensation between the panes. Customer service is a joke. No claim number no date to get them looked at. They are better then an open hole but not much. I am not impatient either just want to know that someone is working on it. Probably gonna have replace them all in a couple years. Should just gone with Anderson in the first place.

Complete garbage would best describe the quality of windows you will get from them. My first winter (in Minnesota) with these windows and they leak like crazy at the corners and seals. I have ice forming all over them. My brother has the same windows in his rental home and his are doing exactly the same thing. My heat bill is actually higher than it was last winter with 25 year old rotting wood windows😒

I have never been so disappointed in a building product before. Out of an order of 13 windows and one patio door we received, we had 9 damaged screens, scratched glass in the patio door, one window cracked and 6 window jambs damaged and needed rebuilt. Have tried working with the sales rep for several months. He has called service. Local lumber yard has contacted you. And almost NO response. Most of these issues would have been prevented with proper packaging. All should have been resolved by now, if there was any quality service.

Would not recommend using Hayfield windows. Purchased three windows last June (2020) from local lumber/hardware store with promise of three week delivery. Did receive the windows in four weeks, but screens were back ordered. Kept calling dealer, only response was: “Well, we called and left a message, but they never called back.” After four weeks of this, I called the company myself and demanded to speak to a live person who could help me. Of course, I was sent to someone’s voicemail. Called back immediately, explained that I was a customer, that I was not going to quit calling until I was

Customer service from Hayfield has been inappropriate and once we were given a contact to "resolve" our concerns, we haven't heard back since. If given the chance to go back and redo our home project, I would NOT choose to put this product in my home again.
