Pro-Tech Lawn Sprinklers

I was very pleased with my experience working with Ray and his crew at Pro Tech. The installation coordinator was wonderful and accommodating with my busy work schedule when it came to scheduling. The installation crew was amazing. After the installation was complete, the crew took their time to show me how to use the system. I highly recommend Pro Tech!

Service: Irrigation system repair / maintenance

First time using Pro-Tech winterizing service. The gentleman showed up on time. He’s very professional and respectful. He would put shoe covers on before stepping in our house.
He explained to me what needed to be done and asked if we had any issues with our irrigation system. The process was extremely pleasant and prompt.
We are very happy with the service. I would highly recommend this company.

The service and quality of the product are excellent. When they came to do the job they realized that I needed 4 more sprinkler heads than they had quoted me and installed them at no additional charge because they wanted the job to be done right. One of the valves got clogged and they returned at 8 am the next morning to repair the valve. I would highly recommend Pro-Tech to anyone.

Pro tech has previously done an excellent job installing sprinklers (for a fair price) at my last house about 7 years ago.
Now looking for an estimate at my new house I recently dealt with Ray who was extremely professional, knowledgeable, personable and polite. Never feeling rushed we walked my property he detailed/explained everything and answered all of my questions in full.

I used Protech on a large and high end system in Wilmington, VT. They were punctual, polite, and did a fantastic job!! I couldn't have been happier!

I called Pro-Tech Lawn Sprinklers to setup an appointment to fix my sprinkler on May 9. They were booked all the way into June, which is too long of a turnaround time. Either they are short staffed or have too much demand. Seems to be a large divergence between google reviews and Angies list for this company, which is a bit odd. Can't comment on quality of work.

One of their drivers, let's call him Dave, since that is his name, drove his company van from a parking lot between my car and the car behind me driven by my wife. his move was careless at best given the limited amount of space between the vehicles as he almost clipped both of our cars.
Dave made a left turn on to a busy street and, after my wife honked at him, stopped the van and his co-worker rolled down the passenger side window and began yelling expletives at my wife.
I called to report this behavior to the office and requested a call back from the manager.

I was surprised to hear of complaints by others about the owner's demeanor and how he treats customers. I had an unfortunate encounter with the owner who actually screamed at me over the phone because he was frustrated that one of his driver's could not make it to close my system for the season during inclement weather. He blamed me and yelled... "Well maybe if you hadn't scheduled so late in the season, we wouldn't have this problem". I was shaking and the man still has not apologized. I am terribly disappointed with this company. I had used them for the past three years for at home and on commercial projects for my residential contracting business. They were typically competent, hence the second star, but they were absolutely awful to deal with. I understand this is a seasonal business, but that does not mean that the owner should talk to people the way he does. From the start I felt that I was a burden to them, and that they were doing me a favor by hiring them.
