I went to South Street for a coolant leak problem. Service was professional, transparent, and quick. They even changed my oil at no charge! I will definitely be taking my vehicles to South Street Motors for as long as I am in the Sun Prairie area.

Gave South Street Motors a shot based on the excellent reviews and so far I am very satisfied with their honesty and the price of the repairs they conducted.
I can't yet comment on the quality of workmanship as the repairs were just completed, but so far they passed all my tests with flying colors.
I have a scanner and some quotes from the shop where I get my oil changed, so I came in knowing what the issues were, test procedures required and cost of the parts involved.
Other shops I looked at had around a 100% or more markup on parts, but South Street's were negligible. They also discovered

South Street Motors was extremely accommodating for myself and my two children under 3. You can tell in a good way it is a family business, they were so understanding that I needed a way to entertain my kids and even took us home though we live outside of Sun Prairie, while our vehicle was serviced. They did an excellent job and were very fair. I felt safe and taken care of there.

I am a new resident in Sun Prairie. I had no idea of where to go when I started having car problems. I went to the web to look for places near me. I read the reviews and decided to call South Street Motors. They got me in the next morning. Very helpful and respectful. They provided transportation both ways. The staff here is amazing! They are professional, courteous, and polite! They are extremely fair with their pricing, and find the problem with your car quickly and do the repairs correctly the first time! The quality of their workmanship is second to none, and I highly recommend this place for any of your automotive needs! Rob and Mark make a phenomenal team, I will be returning here for all of my automotive repairs!
