We get it- there are a thousand gyms and apps and machines for workouts, and online plans can be intimidating. Even if you've done personal training in the past, it's hard to know where to start, what to do, and if you are doing it correctly. You probably have a separate yoga studio and massage therapist and trainer, but your weight hasn't changed and you are still struggling with what to eat.

As a Christmas present to my parents, I set them up with Katy for several sessions. Katy did an excellent job of meeting my parents where they were (figuratively and geographically), and markedly helped them improve their understanding of food, exercise, sleep and overall wellness. I came from a eat anything as long as its a lot of calories and protein bodybuilding background. After I stopped working out I tried keto/OMAD and IF to slim down, and it worked some, but my energy levels, eating habits, and mood were up and down on all of those. I lost 15 pounds on my own in probably 5 months of that kind of eating. I start working with Katy and I learned how to eat. It's not something I learned growing up. I feel lucky to have Katy Harris of WellLife locally to help with my fitness goals. I have received nutrition plans and workout guidance to help grow as an athlete. My specific plan was to help me gain explosiveness as my routine was apparently a little too endurance based. She did a great job of interviewing my to help me discover my true wishes and gave me a framework for making that happen. I only wish I had this resource when I was younger.

I have been working with Katy at WellLife for a few months and I can already feel the results. Based on the initial consultation, Katy put together my personalized program that includes nutrition sessions, workouts and massages. She helps me focus on what is important to me and areas I want to improve on. Katy works with a wide range of clients, all with different backgrounds and starting points. I can truly recommend WellLife for anybody looking to make a change, but may need a little guidance (don’t we all?!).

Working with Katy and the WellLife team help me lost over 30+ pounds in 3 months. Truly a revolutionary program that is custom made for each client and not rinse and repeat like a lot of diets out there. She isn’t going to give you tips or information that’s used everywhere or going to say well if you want to get healthier you have to do the x things. She also isn’t going to give you a strict diet or fad diet to follow. The programs at Welllife are about making YOU healthier. The key there being you. As someone who has played Ultimate for some time but never done weight training specifically for the sport, I've been very thankful to be able to work with Katy since Spring 2017. I'm more and more learning the connection between training muscle groups and what I do on the field. I feel quicker and stronger as a result of working with Katy. Pricing is very reasonable, as well!

I've made great strides in my athletic performance and overall health working with Katy at WellLife. She's helped improve my diet, adjusted my posture and corrected some imbalances, helped me learn good weightlifting form, etc. Training with Katy has made me much more athletic; highly recommend giving her a call!
