On the shores of beautiful Lake DuBay, in the heart of Central Wisconsin. Lake DuBay Shores Campground is located just 2 miles west of Hwy 39 between Stevens Point and Wausau. Each summer we offer excellent boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing and canoeing. But did you know we are open all year?
Fall and winter are some of the best times to enjoy a warm campfire. Autumn's brilliant colors are a must see, and hunters can pursue wildlife of choice in the nearby refuge. Winter campers enjoy great ice fishing, snowmobile, cross country skiing or snowshoeing trails throughout the county, or can soar down various runs at Granite Peak.

Owners are particular about several rules we are actually happy there is no all night partying and no visitors without them checking in first keeps it safer in the grounds, not to mention the most peaceful campground we have ever been to wife was scared of reviews but we gave it a chance and now we are seasonal members overall great place and the complaints about bathrooms they are fine if you want to eat off a toilet go stay at a Ritz Carlton but I'm assuming people leaving the bad reviews couldn't afford that anyway and just like to complain...Overall good safe place, peaceful and good price

Where to start... I've have more than one family member have a permanent site for over 20 years, so there's some history with this place. The permanent side people are great, but that's where the positives end. A few months ago one of the trees that my father had been complaining about for 4 years fell on his camper. It was not an act of God, it was an act of negligence. He now has a new camper. But was unable to buy the one he wanted, because after 20 years of renting the site, They wouldn't cut down a tree that he had asked them to, that was also dead. My recommendation if you're camping for

Nice campground overall. Sites are clean. Although the price to stay is very reasonable they make up for it in wood cost, $7 for a bundle of 6 pieces, and visitor charges. $5 per person. Not per car. $3 for each child in the car. It's a nice place to rest and boat (oh a slip is $20 per day to rent). But not a place for friends and family visits.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I know or anyone who asks me about it. One of the gentlemen that works there, would not allow my dad to pick my mom up at the campsite because he didn't have a pass. He proceeded to park his golf cart infront of my dads car, not letting him through. On top of it, in order to park ONE vehicle, it costs 5 dollars for EACH person in the vehicle. The woman who works at the front desk, when asked questions or told about an upsetting situation will sit there and laugh at you and never give you a real answer. If you want a nice place to camp, and enjoy time with

I very hesitantly give this place 2 stars. Maybe I’m feeling generous today. The positives: our site didn’t feel cramped, and easy access to the lake. Negatives: oof it is in ROUGH shape. I have no idea where the $50+/night they charge goes. The playground equipment was frightening. The metal pieces (the ones that weren’t broken, anyway) looked like the poster child for tetanus. The plastic “young kids” equipment is the Playschool stuff you’d find in someone’s back yard. Except it has sat out in the elements and haven’t been touched by anyone that runs the park in probably at least

Far too expensive for what you get. Sites we're so small and narrow, paying to be able to get out camper in and not hit yes or surrounding people. Don't think the grass has been mowed in months. Outside bathroom doors were broken. And visitors having to pay just to visit--ridiculous. Many other places I can stay and still have my kids visit without them having to dish out money.

This place could be nice, if the owners cared.
More interested in getting $5 a PERSON for anyone even coming into the park. Saw them charge a tenant for having his employee unhook a trailer.
Dead, dangerous trees everywhere. I was convinced one 40 footer was going to drop on my rig any moment. Needs at least 2-3 full time maintenance people. Showers have pull chains. Doors rotting, windows broken. One constant theme from every person I talked to; it could be very nice with different management. So sad. They've got a market, but maybe that's the problem. Don't need to fix anything, people will
