Forte Carbon was established in 2011 to fill a niche building high performance, engineered composite tubes and spars for the marine industry - sailboat masts, spinnaker poles, battens, etc. Over the course of nearly 20 years we have grown and expanded on our basic mission: manufacturing carbon fiber tubing with the capability to build large diameter and extremely long lengths.

Forte masts and booms are manufactured using 4-Axis Continuous Fiber Braided Technology originally developed for military applications requiring "super durability" - the ability to withstand bullet shots and to resist spread of damage. Forte also uses proprietary process control computers to strategically place and braid each carbon fiber strand directly onto a precisely engineered mandrel.
Sizes FCT100 - FCT300 (1" ID to 3" ID): Poles come standard with a center point pick - D rings lashed to the center of the pole eliminating the hassle of bridles. Sizes FCT300 - FCT400 (typical boat size 37' and larger): Poles can be built straight or with a single taper, usually used as dip-gybe poles, and come with a standard topping lift attachment at the outboard end fitting.
Rigged with one of the slickest single line control systems we have ever seen, Forte's telescoping carbon fiber whisker poles are light and easy to use. We are happy to accommodate custom lengths on our carbon whisker poles. However, we must maintain a certain ratio of collapsed to extended length for the pole to work.
