I grew up in Eastern Europe - technically Moldova. I have always had a natural eye for photography. In my youth, I often looked out at the landscape and thought of ways to capture its uniqueness and beauty. Eight years ago, I began taking wedding photos as an assistant, and studied under my mentor, a well-known photographer and cinematographer.
I had the honor of filming a destination wedding in one of the most beautiful beachside resorts in Mexico! Jocelyn and Matthew chose to celebrate it at the Azul Fives Hotel in Playa del Carmen, with their best friends and family. They are fun and madly in love! It was amazing to be there to capture the day for you guys.
Yuri Kriventsoff is your wedding photographer. I book the weddings, edit the photos, respond to inquiries, and design your Wedding Photo-Books. I try not to interfere, my presence at your wedding will remain unobtrusive, enabling me to capture individual and candid moments. I don't pose couple unless it's during the engagement session or formals.

From the moment we first contacted Yuri, we were impressed with how prompt and professional he was in his communications, which made planning and coordinating a breeze. I was drawn to Yuri's photography by the way he used natural light and captured candid moments. He was quiet and focused when working, and always friendly. Yuri photographed our wedding in August 2018. He was great to work with from the very beginning! The photos came out absolutely beautiful. If you don't like to be overly posed, he is definitely the right photographer for you. He is a master at capturing perfect, candid moments. Somehow, you barely notice him taking photos at the wedding (he is NOT one of those photographers that stands in front of all of the guests at the ceremony!). We got so many compliments from our friends and family about how beautiful our photos were. Cannot recommend him enough!

Yuri was great! We found him on yelp after I was dissatisfied with the photographers on the traditional wedding websites. He photographed our engagement pictures and wedding photos. The photos were very unique and accurately captured the spirit of our day. I had some ideas of specific portraits from Pinterest and he had them ready to go to make sure he got some! We even had the blessing of a surprise second shooter! Overall, we were very pleased with all of our photos, and that Yuri was able to tailor a package to our needs.

Yuri is the best! Working with him was such a pleasure; he was very responsive and professional and best of all, our engagement and wedding photos were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. We were so lucky to come across him! I will absolutely use him again for any of our other picture needs (baby photos one day!). His prices are also very reasonable (I would say below average in Boston area) so that's another great thing about him. Overall, I absolutely recommend him to all future brides! He is the best!

We absolutely LOVED working with Yuri! We wanted our wedding pictures to look spontaneous and real, but we also wanted an artistic look and we were having an incredibly hard time finding a photographer that would meet all these qualities. Luckily, a week before our weeding we found Yuri, and we couldn't be happier with our pictures! He has such an artistic eye and was able to take beautiful pictures in pretty much any surrounding (our wedding was in City Hall so the place wasn't necessarily naturally beautiful and decorated for a wedding). Everything I wrote before remains true, but now I've experienced the magic of Yuri at my wedding as well as the awe-inspiring package of photos he's put together for us, which is in and of itself worth a review.
As for Yuri himself: I think he's brilliant. I told my wedding party beforehand that he was a man of very few words, but honestly the quality of his work speaks for itself. His style is definitely more artistic and photojournalistic, so there will be a lot of candids and not a lot of direction or posing -- I get that that's not for everyone, but it made for such a natural

Yuri was a pleasure to work with for our wedding reception! It was easy to coordinate meeting with him, and he definitely saw the big picture of what we wanted. He did a good job listening to our requests and made it all happen. Before we got to our location, Yuri had been there scouting out the venue to find the best spots for pictures. And the pictures look amazing! He captured so many wonderful moments with our friends and family. I also love the presentation of the box we received our pictures in, it was beautiful. We had a south Indian wedding starting at 6 AM in a temple and he was there that early waiting for us. He was accommodating to all our requests including photographing our wedding at 6 AM(!) and captured our evening party very nicely as well. He is very professional, took wonderful engagement pics, delivered the pictures on time and we would totally recommend him for your special day!
