Beginning his undergraduate education at Eastern Michigan University (class of 1994), Kevin went on to earn his Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at Wayne State University (class of 1997) with magna cum laude honors.
While maintaining such attention to his studies, Kevin demonstrated his ability to deftly manage several simultaneous projects as an active member of the Wayne Law Review, the student moot court, and holding the Chair position of the Free Legal Aid Clinic, Inc. Upon completing his graduate degree with honors, Kevin served as a legal clerk under Michigan Supreme Court Justice Michael F. Cavanagh, a position he successfully held for two years.

Heather earned her bachelor's in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Michigan State University (class of 1998). While working towards her undergraduate degree, Heather studied abroad at both the University of New South Wales and the University of Canberra in Australia.
Upon graduating, Heather held her first professional position at the State of Michigan Bureau of Automotive Regulation, writing manuals for customer service representatives and investigators.A research-heavy position, Heather cultivated an eye for detail and thorough examination of data, values that continue to inform her practice today.

A Livingston County native and graduate of Whitmore Lake High School, Erika McNamara lends her passion for the local community and international career experiences to the firm at Gentry Nalley, PLLC. Before pursuing her career in the law, Erika earned her Bachelor's in International Studies of East Asia from Oakland University, an academic interest that spearheaded further study and professional opportunities abroad.
Jules N. Fiani joins the Gentry Nalley, PLLC team as the firm's of counsel attorney. Jules's legal portfolio is diverse, representing clients in cases ranging from criminal law, drug crimes, and juvenile legal infractions to incidents of wrongful deaths, head, and spine injuries, and automobile-related accidents.

My first interaction with Heather Nalley was as a district court judge presiding over a domestic violence case, so I had the pleasure to see her in action first hand and from a detached prospective. Despite all the pressure put on her and her client by the prosecution and, admittedly, the court, to tender a plea, Ms. Nalley was thoroughly professional and pleasant while zealously advocating for her client and his right to a jury trial. Her style is not in your face but rather calm, collected and logical. Always polite, I watched as she picked apart the prosecution’s case without undue hyperbole

Heather has represented me in different cases. One (several different cases within this area) was a DUI, which led me down a path of growth in life, with proper legal support with Heather. The other area she represented me was in child custody. I was not in a divorce, but that doesn't stop me from telling both women and men to TALK TO AN ATTORNEY about some big problems.
