Creative Day School was established in 1980 with the main goal of providing a safe and secure place for parents to leave their children. Belvin G. Smith, owner and operator, acquired several centers in Georgia and North Carolina. Over the past 30 years, the company has expanded to 10 centers and then downsized to the 4 it currently operates.
During these many years of operation, Creative Day School has touched the lives of many families who have in turn, allowed all of the staff and management to be a part of their lives. We can only hope to continue to be blessed with this great opportunity to be a part of each child's growing years and experience the joy of these times with each of their families.

Services
At Creative Day School, activities are planned for each age group to stimulate creativity, encourage individual thinking, develop listening skills, and urge social and emotional growth. Each age group, from Infants to After School, has its own developmentally appropriate program. With our loving and certified staff, we will help teach children how to learn.
Our caregivers in the Infant classroom utilize the most important teaching method -TLC- Tender Loving Care! Research has proven time and again that infants thrive in a caring, accepting, and loving environment. At Creative Day School, we make this our primary focus. Many activities are conducted while teachers perform routine tasks, such as diapering and feeding.
Our primary focus in the Toddler Room is to provide an environment that is warm, caring and accepting to each child's individual needs. Our teachers have several tools designed to assist and guide the children in a creative learning environment. The Active Learning Series continues though this age group and assists the teacher in implementing age-appropriate activities.
During their time at Creative Day School, your children will be involved in daily planned activities including music, science, arts and crafts, math, computer centers, sand and water, outdoor games, and free play. We also understand that parents have a busy schedule so we also provide homework assistance for your child.
During the long summer months, children need a place they can have fun while out of school. At Creative Day School, we provide two full time Summer Camp programs. These camps will last the entire time the children are out of school. Our first Summer Camp is for our Four year olds called Mini Camp. This Mini Camp will still have their normal everyday schedule and curriculum with a fun summer twist.
