Planning a wedding can be a stressful time. At DC Estate Winery, we want your wedding planning experience to be fun and enjoyable. We have every event start and end with our Certified Professional Wedding and Event Planner. With over 15 years experience Tia Lasswell will take your vision and turn it into your reality.
Tasting Room is open for table service, come in and enjoy a wine flight, glass, or even a bottle! While we currently have limited capacity available we do ask that you keep your visit to an hour. Enjoy a variety of snacks available for purchase in our retail area. We have Fruit & Cheese Boxes, Charcuterie Boxes, Hummus & Pita Chips, Sausage, Crackers, a variety of dips and spreads and even more for you to enjoy while visiting us.
A blend of four white grapes make this dry and fruity Chablis style wine with melon and tropical fruit characters. This "northern grown" port exhibits strong fruit character and a lighter body that makes it a perfect mate to dessert and cheeses. Lightly sweet and fruity wine that captures the essence of fresh cranberries.

How DC Estate has anything less than 5 stars is absolutely mind boggling to me. My husband and I got married here July 6th, 2019 and have visited countless times. Every time has been absolutely incredible!

Love this place. I can't give 5 stars because there were so many kids there! Maybe make an area for kids separate from the adults without small kids, they are all outside running around and screaming. Not the atmosphere I'm looking for. The wines are very good. They could use more help at the counter to speed things up. I didn't buy bottles after my flight last visit because it was so slow moving at the counter. great wines and beau grounds!

DC Estate is doing it right. We have been very cautious and careful the past few months. We felt very safe and kudos to the staff. Omg, what a great job. We went one afternoon during the week, we enjoyed a nice glass of wine and bought a bottle to take home and enjoy with friends. What a beautiful setting to enjoy some adult time. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We plan to go back and meet up with friends. They had everything from a warm cocktail to a wine slushy. I highly recommend taking a drive out in the country and enjoy.

We just had a wedding held here and although the winery is beautiful the planner was a total nightmare. Instead of having a bride-zilla at the wedding we had a plan-zilla, Tia. She hates people! We had so many complaints from family members about her! She rolled her eyes, yelled, sighed, everything rude you could imagine. Everyone from immediate family members to cousins complaining about her and the staff that day. She treated everyone like an inconvenience and was by far the worst planner I could have imagined. I'm just glad it wasnt my wedding she was in charge of!!!

Disappointed. Pulled into the parking lot around 2pm on a Friday and noticed it was set up for a wedding. Popped inside to see if we could do a tasting and Paige said of course! Also asked if there was outdoor seating since I had my pup with me and she said yes. While sitting outside enjoying the beautiful scenery another woman came over to inform me that dogs are only allowed the first Wednesday of every month. Ok, cool, didn't know and wasn't told. Kept getting dirty stares while finishing my wine flight. You also can't bring food in since they serve "snacks" which are

Came here on Sunday for the live music and mimosa flights on the patio.. we got there and it was packed. They actually had to bring out more chairs and tables for us ! They had their full bar/ wine out in their pavilion, and also the indoor one was open, charcuterie boards available, a taco truck, and live music on a perfectly sunny Sunday afternoon. What more could you ask for? Oh, and it's FREE! We had a blast and will definitely be back. The scenery is gorgeous and makes you feel like your in a little slice of Cali. Saw families with strollers, but not really geared for children unless parents bring things for them to do. The cell phone reception may be weak. My wife and I like wine and will usually always stop at a winery if we have time. And we always make time for wine. At this winery, we paid to sample 5 or 6 types of wine and decided on a bottle to bring home. We liked 2 or 3 of the dryer red wines, but not so much to pay the $18 or more they were asking. We walked around the grounds imagining how much fun it would be to attend a wedding here.

My wife and I looked at a lot of mediocre wedding venues before finding this hidden gem. Absolutely gorgeous. We got married on the grounds and had the reception immediately afterwards in the pavilion. Our guests were floored with the venue and loved every minute of it. They were not expecting to find something this incredible in an out of the way place. Tia was the venue coordinator but she might as well of been our wedding coordinator. She took care of everything. We didn't worry about a thing. This place will continue to hold a special place in our hearts and will keep coming back

Five tastings for $5, with pretty generous pours. The range of wines is great, especially for Illinois. I didn't taste anything that was offensive. The Reflection Red really stands out. And the blush.
The grounds are gorgeous. I envy anyone that hosts a wedding here (except for the price tag).
Our server was pleasant and made an amazing wine hot chocolate, complete with whipped cream.
Definitely a good time for a girls day!

We had a wine tasting here and then months later my brother's wedding. Both events were wonderful. The place itself is beautiful. Their wines are so tasty. And their small plates/desserts are fantastic. It's really a great location for a wedding, shower, or any sort of special event. The owners are extremely kind and will work with you towards the perfect event. Thank you for a great wedding reception!
