Even after so many years I still get so excited every time a whale decides to swim close to the boat, or shocked as we watch a giant piece of glacial ice come crashing into the ocean in front of us. Leave the Crowds Behind, at Northern Latitude Adventures, We limit our Seward boat tours to 6 or fewer guests. Meet up with the Captain in the Seward small boat harbor and climb aboard! Heated cabins with inside seating, and enclosed marine head (Restrooms) are standard on our boat tours. Our 'small boat' tours are a great way to see wildlife without the crowds.
Cruise with us into Kenai Fjords National Park, and leave the crowds behind. Experience Calving Tidewater Glaciers, Majestic Fjords, Whales, and tons of other Alaskan wildlife on this 6 hour adventure. This is our shortest option out to a tidewater glacier in Kenai Fords National Park. We recommend this trip for anyone who prefers a faster pace, such as families with children.
We can set up any of our regular sightseeing tours as a private charter for you, or you can even customize your own. Our 'small boat' tours are a great way to see whales, wildlife & glaciers without the crowds. A private charter allows much more freedom to pursue your own adventure. Captain Clay and the Blubber in the Bay. What a great experience. Went with a traveling circus of 5 overly excited males and captain clay handled us perfectly. Tons of laughs, tons of info, and with a little luck, tons of things to see in the bay. You can’t guarantee anything when it comes to nature viewing (though we really did hit the jackpot hitting the big 5) but even if we seen nothing, the captain, the boat, the fjords… all top notch. Thank you guys for the incredible experience.

We took the Northwestern Fjord Tour and it was one of our favorite experiences on our entire Alaska trip. A truly special place, and our tour was excellent. We saw a ton of wildlife along the way, and the time at the glacier was amazing. Our captain was knowledgeable and friendly, and the boat was great. I certainly would suggest Northern Latitude over some of the larger operators. In my opinion having a small group on the boat (they take 6 passengers/boat max) makes the experience so much better/more intimate than having 100+ like some of the larger operators do. 100% would recommend, and would

My wife and I booked an all day wildlife/glacier tour with Northern Latitudes to the Northwestern Glacier. It was easily the best thing we did during our trip throughout Alaska. We saw plenty of wildlife: puffins, seals, sea lions, whales, otters, porpoise, etc. The glacier was fantastic, and the boat got you to a place that felt extremely close, while still being a safe distance away should any calving occur.

We did the northwestern fjord with captain Ryan. He was all the time looking for wild life to show to us. Very respectful and profissional person. It was very nice trip. The boat is a good size for 5 people. It is clean and comfortable. The lunch and the beverage are very good. We had lunch in front of the northwestern glacier from the boat.

Today was a trip of a lifetime! Our captain, Nick, was great! Informative, patient, looking for wildlife to make our trip special. The whole day was perfect, the company, the scenery, the animals, even the glacier. We saw mountain goat, eagle, bear, whales, dall porpoises, otters, seals, sea lions, puffins ! Truly, it could not have been better! Highly recommended.
