From 14 to 66 and everything in between, we have all of the standard lumber sizes you're looking for. We will take the time to cut lengths and sizes that other mills won't, giving our customers exactly what they want. We dry our lumber at 200 degrees for 34 hours. Our kilns are sawdust fueled which allows us to ship our products both efficiently and cleanly.

We have the capabilities for producing 53 different sizes and grades of lumber simultaneously.
Services
In those days, most of the lumber was sold for railroad cross ties and it took Mr. Ball three years to pay off that initial investment. Today, Ball Lumber Company has over 75 full-time employees including three generations of Ball family members cutting trees, overseeing the mill, and transporting lumber.
All of our lumber is graded and stamped with a seal of certification for quality. While most of our orders ship to the mid-Atlantic and Northeast, we are strategically located to service major East Coast ports. We are 6 hours from New York City, and 1.5 hours from the port of Norfolk. We containerize lumber, as well as saw export items for various European customers.

Horrible place to work! Just because the boss man owns the trucks he thinks he owns the drivers too. He expects his drivers to run with as little pay as possible and do things not in their job description for no pay at all. JOHN BALL is too STUPID to realize he’s the reason for his own misfortune!!

The truck drivers drive without sense, well above the speed limit with a full load! Do not give them any buisness!
