Services
We are committed to helping individuals and families move in positive, healthy directions and achieve their goals. To enable us to create a plan that accurately addresses our client's needs, we always start with a complete, bio-psycho-social assessment. When the client is a child, we meet with parents alone for the initial session.
As healthcare workers in our community, we recognize there are few services for this population. Thus, Mountain Mental Health has designed a program to evaluate and treat the child, adolescent or adult who has or is suspected of having Autism, Asperger's Syndrome or related Spectrum Disorder. Assessment using tools specifically designed to identify components of Spectrum Disorders.
Neurofeedback is an intervention therapy. By using neurofeedback we are "training the brain" to be more calm, alert and regulated. Using an electroencephalogram, or EEG and computer software designed for this purpose, the brain is able to watch it's own activity in real time. The brain is rewarded when it responds by settling into more regulated and efficient patterns of operation.
