Services
The decision to seek counseling services isn't always easy. Realizing you need help is the first step. Finding the right mental health practitioner, with the experience, training and understanding you need, is the second. That's why our two therapists Camie Harvey and Renae Peterson offer free 15-minute consultations to their potential clients and patients.
About Marriage Counseling Occasional disagreements are common to all relationships. Sometimes though, relationships can get off track and have a hard time getting back on track. About Personal Boundaries Social relationships can be very rewarding and also very challenging. The closer the relationship we have with another person, the more challenging it can be.
ADHD (Attention-deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) can offer significant challenges. The person with ADHD may overschedule themselves, procrastinate tasks until nagged, lose track of time, misplace needed items, forget details of important conversations, or get so caught up in a personal interest that they forget to spend time with their spouse or partner.
Anxiety goes beyond regular stress. While stress motivates a person to pay attention and to perform well, anxiety is an excess of stress and pressure that leads to poorer focus and poorer performance. The excess stress may be due to the anxious person placing too much importance on the situation or seeing the situation as being too much for them to handle.
Depression affects about 10 percent of the population each year. Clinical depression lasts 2 weeks or longer and involves not only sad mood but also decreased enjoyment of normal activities. Motivation and self-esteem also suffer. There may also be physical symptoms such as changes in appetite, weight, sleep, energy level, and ability to focus.
