Upon his return from World War II, R.B. settled in Ansonia, OH and began working for John Harrison in the insurance and real estate business.
R.B. bought the business in 1946 and operated it for nearly 40 years, allowing the company to change with the times, including construction of a brand-new office in 1970. R.B.'s son, Nick, took over the business in the mid-1980s. In 1988, The Vannoy Agency merged with R.B. Cox Agency, Inc. to create the Vannoy-Cox Agency, which resulted in our second convenient location in Greenville, OH.
