I didn't have any problem with their service. However, a year after I canceled it, they sent me a statement. The statement was for a late fee... I called and the woman I spoke with found the error and said she corrected it. I received another - for a late fee on a late fee. When I try to call them, the person I get is not able to understand the problem. I will be filing a complaint with BBB as I am tired of incompetence.

Over the past 6 months this company has been nothing but issues. Prices increased which is fine however they said recycling was discontinued. We then receive a letter saying that letter was not meant for our area. Over the past month our lawn bags have not been picked up. I call every Wednesday and they say, 'yes they should have been picked up' we don't charge $4 a bag for your area. Well today was the final straw. Called again, said they would send someone out to pick up the bag. Neighbor called right after me and they said our area is in fact charged $4 per lawn bag.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
I have called numerous times to ask the drivers not place my cans iny driveway. I am disabled and it is extremely difficult for me to have to get out of my vehicle to move the cans and get back in. Complete disrespect and retaliation for me calling. Company is full of inconsiderate people. Would give zero stars if could.

Has always been amazing at picking up our trash and have never missed our stop. Great prices as well only thing I would say is if you order a dumpster it’s an amazing price but twice now my husband and I have had issues with delivery. If you need a dumpster cheap use DC but if you need it on a specific deadline maybe go elsewhere. They do say they don’t guarantee times they just give an estimate but as first time customer they were not even supposed to give us a day and they did so then we all became very confused. The second time we didn’t even appear in the system, luckily they have great

Just gotta say we have been using DC Trash for years and absolutely love them! I just watched our garbage man empty both cans and then open each one just to make sure he got everything. It's just the little things to show you they care. We have never had any issues with them taking anything and you can't beat the price or service!

Over the last year that I've had DC Trash they've either missed my garbage or recycling 10 times, that's like an 80% success rate. The girls on the phone are usually nice when you call to report the missed pick up, but they still can't figure out how to offer consistent collection service. Definitely cheaper than WM but at this point it appears you get what you pay for.
Edit: Since posting this review, they must have spoken to their drivers because they no longer routinely miss my house (granted they still missed a few times this year.) I'm glad the problem has been addressed, but shouldn't have

I don't normally do reviews for anything, especially customer service because unfortunately, it's hard to find excellent customer service nowadays. I've been blown away by this company for several reasons and I felt compelled to share!
First of all, DC Trash has the best pricing plans in my area, for the services they provide and I love the neutral color of their cans!

BEST pricing & service you'll ever find! The cans we got are new and great colors as where before we had to put our bags on the ground in a pile. They show up when they are supposed to, unlike our previous company. AND you're NOT being swindled into long term contracts with hidden little clauses that say, "your 3 year contract will automatically renew every three years, all terms and conditions apply to each three year term." Then the remaining amount of time left in your contract will be totaled and you must pay 50% of the total balance!!!!! Let's say you have 28 months left on your auto renew

We have been using DC Trash for our commercial remodeling service and plan on using them as our regular choice for trash removal from our offices when construction is done. They have been GREAT! Competitively priced, small company attention to detail, and customer service that is impressive. Said that we owed over $100 that we didn't right after we signed up. Then they charged us $10 a bag and said we had 13 bags out one week which we were forced to pay.Once we finally got that cleared up, they randomly stopped picking up our trash. We have tried to call them 5 times in the last week DURING their office hours and they just let it ring through. The most nonprofessional trash company I have ever used. If you have a choice, stay far away from DC trash.
