She is an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida and conducts her sessions online via a secure, HIPAA-compliant program.
Dr. Salpietro holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio University, a Master of Arts in Counselor Education with a Clinical Mental Health Concentration from the University of Toledo (UToledo), and Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education from UToledo.

Paula spent 3 years as an undergraduate in Tel Aviv, Israel before finishing her degree at the University of Toledo. Paula earned her Masters from Case Western Reserve University. Paula started her career at the Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center. She was instrumental in developing, implementing and coordinating volunteers for the Sexual Abuse Prevention Program, for all public and parochial schools in Lucas County.

After scheduling an appointment with Kinsey, I was told by the office manager that I would not be a good fit for Kinsey nor the entire office based on all of my needs. However before I schedule the appointment with kinsey i was told by the front desk person Kathleen that she would be a good fit. So due to all of this different information I felt it was necessary to cancel the appointment with her in hopes of finding someone else. But I didn’t really find someone else so I attempted to reschedule with Kinsey but was unable to because their office policy was that once you cancel the first initial

We have gotten the best care here. Not only were we able to receive a diagnosis for my son, but our counselor, Jennell, has been very supportive. She has given us resources to give us a place to start as well as offered to speak to my sons sister to help her understand the diagnosis. I feel incredibly supported and in good hands here. My son, who is very picky about people said that Jennell is the only counselor he would see and that she talks and teaches him stuff. I totally recommend Julia Burrow and assoc.

Extremely rude, aggressive and unhelpful staff - for being in the mental health profession, you’d think they would be more mellow and willing to work with peoples situations. They clearly do not have their patients best interest in mind. They’re mostly concerned about getting money in their pockets. 0/10, would never recommend.

This provider was the only person my little brother trusted. During the covid, the hours were limited and not flexible for those who had jobs. This practice let my little brother down who no longer is with us. He trusted them as health care professionals to be there in a time of crisis and need. Mental health is a very scary thing for teens and they constantly have to battle their own demons. They rely on mental health care professionals to be there in a time of crisis. Many have trust issues due to negative stereotyping and constantly being let down. I hope this practice has learned from these

I scheduled an appointment over a week ago and told them my insurances over the phone. I come in for my appointment just for them to tell me that they don't my one insurance and unless I pay 295.00 i can't see anyone. I took a day off of work and they should have verified everything over the phone before they scheduled me and wasted my time. Very upsetting as now i have to try and find someone else and take another day off and wait who knows how long again to get in somewhere.

Dr. Burrow runs a great practice. She has a very calm and logical approach, listens and communicates very well, and takes the time to understand the problem. After having visited a few other places in the area, I'm grateful to have found her.
The insurance networks she works with are very limited so you may end up paying 100% at visit then sending in to your own insurance afterward, but it's definitely worth it. I've been in the office maybe a dozen times now and was treated well by everyone. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
