With an 8' x 10' x 29' batch oven, we are able to do small one-off jobs as well as long production runs. From multi coat candy's to MIL spec and CARC coatings. Car frames and wheels to ornamental iron, spiral staircases, fabricated steel and anything in between. If it's metal, Platinum can powder it.
Sandblasting is a method used to remove paint, rust and mill scale on surfaces such as structural steel, car parts, lawn furniture and wheels. We offer several different types of sandblasting including copper and coal slag to garnet, crushed glass, glass bead, steel grit, plastic, and even sand. We media blast for a less abrasive finish on more delicate items such as car bodies and thin metal.

If I could rate this place a NO star I would. What a joke! They destroyed an entire order, set my guy back more than three days, said "oops sorry about that, we'll make it right" and then didn't. Horrible service, work and professionalism. Don't take anything here.

I submitted an online request via their website and form. No one got back to me so I called. I was practically begging the lady on the for the info, saying "yes I would like to do this please" I requested pick up and delivery as well. She then told me I would be charged $100 for this service and that I would have to provide at least two guys to help the driver load and unload. I will not be moving forward with them due to the interaction and the extremely poor customer service. I was willing to pay what could be $100 extra because they don't keep purple in stock and anything else she said. I didn

Dropped of some wheels to get Powder Coated, they where very professional and told me step by step what would be done, I had already talked to 2 other places and after they told me how much I was Sold!! For the Value and Quality I will definitely be coming back !!

I can't begin to express my satisfaction with Platinum Powder Coating and their services. In the past few months, they have coated a total of 61 aluminum and metal parts for a car project I'm building. Several of the pieces were coated with "Ultra-Chrome" which also requires a clear coat, and is a very difficult color to apply consistently. Every piece is perfect, and all of the work was completed in a timely fashion considering all of the events related to Covid 19. When the parts were returned to me, they were either packaged individually in heat-sealed plastic or wrapped in styrofoam. It's clear

I've dropped off 2 large steel military crests for powder coating. Each time they removed any burrs, smoothed out the sharp edges and powder coated them perfectly. They have a quick turn around if the coating is on hand. If the color you want is already scheduled they can add your work to the same day to make it even quicker. I don't have a ton of experience with powder coating, but the prices seemed reasonable to me.

Platinum Powder Coating is shoddy at best now a days, they take what ever short cuts they can to save money. Pretreatment is awful at best. If his employees make a mistake he will make the employee pay out of their pay, And in the 9 hour work day employees were only allowed a 30 min lunch. The city of Colorado Springs should take a look into who they do buisness with and how those companies do buisness and treat their employees.
