I've been going to Safeway for 30 years. I think they are great. Yesterday I destroyed a tire after hotting a pothole. I took the car to the closest place and they quoted me over $300 per tire. Called Safeway and same tire was $183. Was able to get the car over to Safeway and left happy. BTW, I think the previous review talking about battery is not for Safeway Tire.

I called Safeway tire because my tow truck got a flat tire in berea, I got a quote on them coming to the truck rather then having it towed. Quoted me two tires install price was below what I expected to pay. Then the gentleman asked me what time would I need them installed by? I asked by 11am it's now 9:00am he said he would do it. I left my house went to the truck by 10:00 to my surprise I saw a guy installing my tires he was nearly done!! Very happy with the service and the price!! Later that day the same gentleman called me and asked that I come in to have the tires balanced for free! I

Run, don't walk, from this rip off place. You can't get an itemized receipt for services here, and you can't trust their work with the most minor of things. Less than a week after purchasing a new battery that they installed, amongst other things they supposedly "fixed",, my car failed to start.
I was told to have it towed back to their lot, which was impossible to do then and there as I had a full work day.
The next day when I could find the time to wait around for a AAA tow, one pop of the hood revealed that the battery was wobbling on it's shelf, one of the cables
