Don't start any relationship with the therapists as they get rid of them very quickly. I've lost 2 in 11 months. How are we supposed to confide in someone who will be gone in less than a year.

I appreciated getting mental health care when I was uninsured. However, my mental health med clinic doctor I got seemed judgmental. There was a language barrier, I didn't feel like we were addressing my concerns. I didn't feel like her bed side manner was very good. We did celebrate some succeses in my treatment but I was glad when I got insurance and changed providers. I would recommend uninsured people to use their mental health services as the prices are good but theyre over worked and under paid. I don't think the staff has the time or luxury to really get a good patient doctor experience.

Would. It recommended some of the staff do not do a thorough job and they will bill you months after the fact and when you call to ask the will tell you that you do not owe anything and just to ignore the bill it is just their system messing up. So watch out!!

I am living with someone who was assigned a caseworker, Wendi, from here and she has pushed an agenda on her from day one and not truely sat down to find out what her client needs and what her goals are. I have taken the time to understand the role of a caseworker and by my knowledge she has not done what she is supposed to be doing. I am not happy the way my friend is being represented and controlled by by Wendi. She never sat down and made a plan of what my friends goals were or even what plan she may have for her future. I did not appreciate being threatened by Wendi as well. That's not how

After trying many different places in Emporia, I finally felt like CrossWinds was the spot for me. I have seen huge changes and I feel my therapist is always there, cheering me on. CrossWinds provides a wide variety of services to help the community and I'm so glad to be part of their mission.

Hands down the worst place on Earth to get mental help. Had the same problems for years, so I know what I need to be taking. They refused, after I talked with a person who didn't even have the respect to show up to talk with me in person. Although, they like to give narcotics to people that tell them they are an addict and can't have narcotics. Anyone using crosswinds for mental health help, isnt going to get better.
