Today, our experienced doctors and staff offer comprehensive vision and eye health evaluations and are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide array of eye diseases, conditions, and problems.

High-quality vision correction is the icing on the cake of properly managed eye health. We have all of the lens options available today for optimum vision correction, including the amazing Shaw lens. There are some very new and interesting lens treatments such as the Vantage material and BluTech blue light filters.
When you purchase your eyewear from our office, you will have the peace of mind to know your eyewear is covered under our extensive warranty plan. Unconditional lens warranty- we will replace your lenses at no charge one time two years from the purchase date, and for a small deductible after that if additional replacements are needed.
Our best preventative measures for preserving eyesight are regular comprehensive eye examinations and proper ocular nutrition. We've addressed the benefits of regularly examining the health of our eyes, so let's talk about OCULAR NUTRITION- the OTHER sight saving preventative measure. When mentioning nutrition, most people's eyes roll up into the back of their heads, they have a seizure, or their mind goes numb.

Always very nice and smiling. Very helpful and friendly knowledgeable. If you have any problems they always fit you in and try to fix the problem. I have been going to them for years and years. Several of the people that are there are from when I first started÷e going there. An awesome group. My girls went there when they were little and they still go there. Now my granddaughter goes there. Love this place. Wouldn't go anywhere else

The staff and Dr Chandler are all the kindest people I've ever went to. They are very warm and helpful and I would recommend them to anybody. I had tried for between 10 and 15 years to get glasses that I could actually see well through. I am more than please with the glasses that I got from Alabama vision source. I see the best that I have seen in over 10 years.

They’re nice. But they aren’t the most competent or communicative. I’m having to go back up tomorrow to get fitted for glasses when I told them I needed those measurements at my appointment. And they charged me $140 for just the exam after my insurance. I don’t understand how they work but not a fan. I’ve been using them for years but I won’t anymore.

I have been a patient of Dr David since I was in 5th grade. He has always taken great care to explain what is occurring with my eye health and provide all available options for improving my eye health. Additionally, Beth is phenomenal - she is aways kind, personable and makes the visit effortless and fun. All of the staff are very nice and professional. Thank you to everyone for being the BEST!

Dr Chelsea is very competent and treats me as someone she knows rather than just another patient. She makes me feel she is as knowledgeable as her father, Dr David Chandler has in the past.

I had a problem with my eye. The office was closed, I called the emergency number. Dr David Chandler answered he was willing to see me that night. He called back to check on me. I decided to go to the office the next morning. I told the receptionist my problem. I was in an exam room within minutes. I saw Dr Chelsea Chandler. She checked my eye, prescribed eye drops and wanted a follow-up appointment with me. The doctors and staff are very caring and helpful. I would definitely recommend Alabama Vision Source.

Everyone here was wonderful! The staff are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Dr. Chandler showed an interest in helping me maintain and protect my long-term eye health. They explained my insurance benefits and how I could get the most value from my contacts and glasses options. All in all, one of the best optometrists I've ever visited. I left feeling like they truly care about me.
