Loftus Ornamental Iron Inc. has been fabricating custom ornamental iron railings, cable railings, spiral and small steel stairs, for interior and exterior use as well as miscellaneous ornamental iron products since 1970. Had a GREAT experience with them. I worked with Jeff who (out of three different places) was the only one that got back to me in a prompt fashion. Told him we were looking for new front step railings. He gave me a general quote over the phone based on some photos I sent over which we found reasonable (about $650). We then asked about custom work and send some additional photos over. Said no problem and gave us a quote of $1300 (in the meantime they had sent someone by to take measurements). He originally told me they were three weeks out. I told him if there was anyway to get the work done

I emailed them looking for interior gates for my home. They responded promptly with an email. I called them and spoke to one of the owners. He quoted me $795 for the gates. He said he needed to come out and measure, so I had him out. After measuring everything, I asked if the prices included latches to keep the gates open so they don't swing freely. He said no, but it would be inexpensive to add the. He said he'd email me with the updated pricing with 3 small latches. I didn't hear from him for a couple of days so I emailed him. A day later I got a response with $900 estimate
