The Jim Brown Company is three generations old and still going strong. Our company history began in June of 1964 by James C. Brown in the last bay of what is now the Butler Furniture building on State Highway 5. He later moved to our current location, 45 CR 466 which is just off State Highway 5 a mile or so further up the highway.
James C. and his wife, Zella Brown, were a traditional husband and wife team running a small business designed to give back to the community. James D. Brown joined the company in 1967 and learned the business from his father until 1972 when he ultimately purchased the business.

Thanks, Jim Brown Co., for offering an economical yearly maintenance plan that has kept my "older" heating and cooling systems operating at their best. Your techs are always on time and efficient, showing me photos of items that need attention, so I am able to understand what needs to be done. Mostly, though, they keep everything trouble free. The only time in over ten years that I had an emergency problem a tech was here promptly after my call. That problem was a blower motor that they had warned about and the replacement was installed at a discount due to the maintenance plan. I would absolutely
