Lots of Christmas decorations, it’s almost overwhelming. We didn’t eat, so I can’t speak to the food. But the shopping and atmosphere was perfect for the Christmas season. Definitely recommend checking out!

Was excited to go with friends for lunch yesterday, just didn't plan on a 3 1/2 hour lunch. Enjoyed shopping while we waited for a table, but it took 1 3/4 hours before we sat down. We were told 1 hour. No place to sit and wait. Then it was another 45 minutes to get our food. Very small portions, soup was cold. Took way too long to be heated up and brought back out. Beverages are served too small and staff was too busy and flustered for any refills even though we asked 3 times. Literally had to track her down to get the bill. Left still hungry and very thirsty. Good thing I loved the people I was

We were afforded the opportunity to dine in the small rustic (term does not do justice) barn-style stage coach room with real wood shiplap covering the walls. Just cozy dining for 16 people. There were only 6 on a Sunday afternoon around 1:00pm. Morgan House is billed probably as a woman's tea room. But, there are men enjoying the ambiance. And, did I say novelties everywhere? Good to still catch the many Christmas displays. Gnomes at a discount from $75. Buckeye corner. Everything Bees. Irish venue. Antiques. Goods on consignment, I presume! You might easily find furniture pieces for $1200 and

I had a Rubin sandwich with a cup of house soup the other had grilled salmon with spinach salad. All was good except the soup tasted old and burnt. The service was ok except for them having personal conversations in the dining room around the guests. I give them 3 stars because they can be better when they are trying.

This was my first time here. This was my birthday surprise! This is a historic place that has been added on to and turned into a business. They have a multilevel store and restaurant. There 3 levels and with no actual definition on how they connect but that's part of it's charm. The food is more for breakfast or brunch. But still very good. The staff is polite but busy and I love how light and airy the restaurant is. They have a wonderful and unique ique selection of items to but ranging from foods, snacks, saves and such to Christmas items, jewelry, clothes and home and

I went here for the first time when they had all of their Christmas items out and it was magical. There are so many unique gifts and the log cabin feel of the store adds to the charming atmosphere. The walkways are a bit tight so it would be hard to navigate with my toddler if he had been with me.

It was very crowded but you can expect that on a Saturday around the holidays. Great merchandise at reasonable prices. Delicious lunch. I had the Ruben and house salad. Gals serving tables were great. Especially liked the hostess. Will definitely recommend.

First time at The Morgan House. First things first, this place has a restaurant with a decent menu. I didn't ask if I could substitute gluten free bread in other sandwiches, just ordered the basket lunch since gluten free bread was listed as an option. Food was good, salad fresh, and I really liked the 1000 island dressing they serve. It was a light lunch, if you will.
Now the second thing about The Morgan House, it's a store offering decorations, Christmas stuff (right now), furniture, some food products, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and much more. The store part is on three levels that

The menu hasn't changed much over the years but if it ain't broke why fix it? Highly recommend the roast beef sandwich. The pesto pizza is newer but also good. Soups and desserts can vary. Years ago I had the best Key lime pie here and I've had it in the Florida Keys! Sadly, the chef hadn't made any pie recently (blueberry cobbler did sound good). Fun to look through the store while waiting for a table. Prices are better than some of the other little shops in town on many items too.

A great local giftshop. Needing something for my mom (the flamingo t-shirt from the zoo will be a gift from Baby K) I turned to our illustrious CM Jayme's list of local favorites. This is a cool old house on the corner not far from the zoo. I've seen it often, but never had a chance to stop in. It's chock-full of nice gifts, for yourself or others. Lots of Christmas stuff right now, of course. Specialty foods, jewelry, kitchen items, decor, etc. Need a swanky mask? They have 'em. There's a cafe in back, but since it sounded like it was bustling I passed.

Plenty

I love this sweet restaurant and gift shop, and if I lived in the area I would go there on a regular basis.

The exterior looks like a vintage home. Tons of outdoor gift items filled the front porch as a suggestion of what a fantastic array of gifts fills the interior.

I went with my two cousins. We shopped a bit before we had lunch. Then we shopped again once we finished our meal. The rooms have themes so it's easy to find things you are looking for.

The dining room felt like a cute cabin. It was warm and inviting. We all ordered different meals and everything was fresh, delicious perfection

Man, I used to love The Morgan House. I loved looking around and eating lunch in the restaurant. However, I went recently after not having been there for a while and I was kinda disappointed! The inventory that they're carrying seems to be more geared toward older ladies. There just weren't very many interesting things like I remember! When I walked in, the cashier only stared at me, didn't greet me. As a matter of fact, all the ladies working in each section seemed pretty snooty.
I had lunch and ordered the chicken pot pie, only to be told a while later that none were ready. I

The Morgan House is one of my favorite places. The ambiance of the restaurant is comfortable and homey. It's not loud. I recommend getting a seat near the fireplace in the winter. The food is very good and the prices are very reasonable. Unlike some of the "hip" places in Central Ohio, the Morgan House focuses on providing tasty classics and doesn't slather them with aioli or weird, syrupy reductions. There are a lot of good choices on the menu. Try the coffee. It's wonderful. Extra can be purchased in the wonderful gift shop attached to the restaurant. Take some time to

The Morgan House is such a hidden gem! I had a voucher to purchase a Restaurant.com gift card, so after looking at some reviews of this place, I decided to use it here. I brought my parents here on a Sunday for lunch as it sounded like a place my mom would enjoy.

We entered and were seated immediately in the smaller of the dining rooms. It was really cute and maintained most of the original cabin. We were given really tasty cranberry muffins upon being seated.

I ordered the open face club sandwich. Though I'm not usually a huge fan of open faced sandwiches, this thing was GOOD. I swear there

A friend and I dropped in here on a Sunday for lunch. We hadn't seen each other in a few months and had a -lot- of catching up to do. The place was already crowded by noon, but we managed to get a seat in the tea room which was pretty empty. The table itself was small and low - hard to get my knees under though I'm not that tall - and my chair was literally on top of an air vent so it was very cold. It wasn't a problem since my purse completely covered the grate, but it seems a bit of an odd set up in the first place.
Anyways, we were prepared to enjoy some good food and gossip

I have yet to eat here but the shopping will pretty much blow your mind... stuff EVERYWHERE!

Go there and experience for yourself. The place is huuuge, like 4 or 5 levels of jammed packed stuff. They have eclectic uncommon goods/knicknacks for all! The stuff insight is pretty unique. But beware, you will need plenty of time if you really want to peruse. Not to mention it took me about 20 minutes to find myself OUT of this crazed maze!

This is the sort of place one takes one's mother for Sunday brunch- soup, salad and quiche. The food is decent, but the shopping is predictable if you are looking for high end house decor, knock off New england antiques or over-priced Vera Bradley bags that you can find in almost every independently owned boutique in Columbus, then this is for you.

Nothing special if you have been to the Wren House, Fritzy Jacobs, or about a dozen other boutiques in the nearby neighborhoods.
