I was down visiting from NH last April and had to be towed to their shop to have a couple of injectors replaced, turbo cleaned, and some other work done. These guys are a busy shop and they took me right in because I had to head back to NH towing a camper within a couple of days. They got the work done and my truck ran better than in quite a… while. While driving back to NH I noticed a noise that was from the turbo down pipe rubbing. No big deal to fix but I called them and told them I’d be back down and they said to bring it by. Had remand 6.0 block installed in June supposed to be 3 years 100,000 mile warranty took back in December I said thought injector was failing the installed a computer said injectors were good 3 days later injector failed. Messed up motor after 2 months there they said small block was not covered under warranty do to injector failure so I had to pay… to replace all again. Left shop about 20 miles transmission line comes of at radiator and looses all the fluid. They came out and filled it back up saying sorry for that not very happy and really not sure of the truck.

Adam is the only one that I ever let touch my trucks! Over the years he has done tons of headstand jobs, full motor builds, and transmission builds. He just got done doing the stage 2 solutions package on my 6.0. I dropped it off at 7am Monday morning, and drove it home at 5pm Tuesday afternoon! Awesome service!

Be careful with this place. Would consider powerstroke performance or any other shop before falling into this trap. My truck went in 6 months ago to the day. Was told it would be a month turn around. 6 months later and more than $1100 over budget from what they told me it would cost, a guy walks out and sprays starting fluid into my engine to get it to start..... I paid $7400 for them to purchase and put that engine in. Glad to see it needs starting fluid to fire.

Run from this place. Had my truck 6 months to replace a head gasket. Told me it would be two months. Hard to get in touch with. They do not return calls. Had all the excuses in the world from really busy to lost a mechanic. Changed the store hours out of the blue. I spent 7,000 dollars there 6 months ago and I call him now looking for a simple part twice and he wont even call me back, says he is waiting on a quote, lol . Very bad customer service. I just hope my engine last. Not even sure he put in performance injectors that I wanted. I called the company he said he used and they said he has not

Just want to say that the guys over at Back Bay Diesel did an absolutely fantastic job replacing my injectors with some Warren Diesel 175/stock premiums and they also completely rebuilt my transmission in house. Everything was done in a timely manner and at a very fair price. Needless to say, my truck is shifting better than it ever has before. Looking forward to bringing them a lot more of my business and hopefully bringing along some others with me. If you need a good shop in Virginia Beach or the surrounding area don’t hesitate to call Back Bay Diesel!

Top shelf bunch of dudes right there! They put in a set of 175/stock Warren injectors in my 03 F250 6.0. Truck runs amazing! Just brought it back to them for a transmission replacement. I will continue going back to them. I love when a mechanic will take the time to explain things to you. Won’t let you waste money if it’s not needed.

Big thanks to back bay. They worked me in there busy schedule, found what was wrong in minutes, ordered the part, and also put some other goodies in for me, all while they were slammed.
