Chrissy is our go to person for all your treatment and financial questions. You may also see her in the clinic as well given her start in orthodontics as a clinical assistant. Sarah is one of our former patients who loved her orthodontic experience so much that she became a dental assistant and joined our team.
Dr. Trevor Veltkamp is a Whatcom County native who learned to love gray drizzle at a very young age. Although he was gone for seventeen years, earning degrees from Calvin college, University of Washington, Baylor, and Texas A and M, his heart was always in Whatcom County. Upon completion of his degrees, Dr. Veltkamp practiced in Ellensburg, Washington for seven years.
It is easy to say what we can do, but those words mean very little unless they are experienced. Doctor Veltkamp's motto is, "The right treatment, at the right time, for the right reasons." Integrity is key to his treatment philosophy. Most orthodontists in America have access to state of the art technology and appliances.
At your first visit you will participate in a complimentary exam. This will include the opportunity to meet some of the Veltkamp orthodontics team, and receive a thorough examination by Dr. Veltkamp. In this exam he will ascertain your orthodontic goals, as well as gather all the information required to create an ideal plan for your smile and bite.
Dr. Veltkamp is online! Using Orthodontic Screening you can now ask questions, send pictures, and receive feedback and instructions concerning your orthodontic care and progress. You will receive a reply the next business day with a smile assessment from Dr. Veltkamp.

I’ve received braces from this establishment and they work very well. The people are very friendly and informative. Orthodontist appointments are never looked forward to due to the physical pain that usually accompanies them but this place makes it very bearable. Overall a great place I do recommend.

Dr veltkamp and staff do a great job. Everyone goes above and beyond each and every time. I have 5 dentist friends and he is the number one recommended ortho for lynden. I did my research being an adult getting braces. Icing on the cake is everyone is always happy and joking around at the office. They genuinely seem to like working together and it makes the entire atmosphere completely relaxed. I have five kids and unfortunately all of them will need orthodontics, but if I have to take them, they’re all going here!

Dr. Veltkamp and his staff were incredibly kind and generous to me and I loved the care I received at his office. It's always a little nerve racking having someone put their hands in your mouth, but his whole staff just put me at ease. Everyone was very friendly and encouraging there. They were very professional in their work and even though I asked a lot of questions, they were always patient with me and never made me feel as though I was a nuisance. I had some issues with over crowding in my mouth and Dr. Veltkamp was able to work very closely with my dentist and I ended up with the

Possibly the most scummy medical professional I have ever seen. Dr. Veltkamp kindly informed me that because I had a very, very slight overbite my bottom teeth were going to grow until they hit the roof of my mouth unless I got braces to correct this slight overbite. I'll say that again: My bottom teeth were going to grow until they hit the roof of my mouth.
