An adoption creates a legal parent-child relationship between the adoptee and the adoptive parent(s). Florida law allows adoptions for all persons, minors and adults. Once the adoption is complete the adoptee and adoptive parent share in all rights and responsibilities as if the relationship is biological.

Mediation is a dispute resolution process where the parties work with a neutral party called a "mediator". The mediator works with the parties to attempt resolve all or some of the outstanding issues between them. Rules of Mediation. Mediation is a confidential process, absent abuse or other extenuating circumstances, the parties and the discussions at mediation are private and cannot be disclosed to any third party or in court.
Cosentino is a godsend. She helped calm my concerns and was extremely knowledgeable about our case and our options. She made me feel like a priority and took the time necessary to listen and help me understand what was going on and what I needed to do. Through her help the case against us was dismissed and I was able to keep custody of my beautiful daughter!

I was recommended 3 lawyers by legal aid and she was the only one to pickup the phone. My case is ongoing but has been a long and difficult one made much easier by Amy. She not only has an excellent understanding of family law and is unbiased towards men but is upfront and honest as well.
