We contacted Kalin Excavating on a recommendation from another sewer company that didnt do pipe lining. The were able to work us in quickly and the repair was successful. I would definitely use them again and can easily recommend them for pipe lining work.

These guys are pretty much miracle workers. If you are in need of excavating services you can stop looking. This is the company you want to hire. Not just professional, polite, and amazingly competent, they can move mountains of city hall paperwork and actual mountains of rocks and dirt to get the services you need to your site. Thanks fellas! I called and scheduled an appointment with JB.
He came out looked at the job said he would give me a price quote (Bid to do the work) And I never heard from him again!!
I called multiple times and left multiple messages and he refused to return my calls.
I never received a price or description of work to be done or a call back.
Very unprofessional. And if they wouldn’t even give a price to do the work or return my phone calls or explain to me why I question the quality of work that they would do or even complete a job if they got an excepted proposal from a bid I never received.

These guys are excellent! They just recently replaced the old Orangeburg sewer pipe on our home. They worked so hard and were so diligent with this project. They even took the time to clean up after themselves. Great customer service! They explained the entire process to me before the job and didn't charge to run a video through the sewer line during the quote. The price for the job was also reasonable. They were recommended to me by the city of Spokane and the Drain Specialist. I am so grateful for their service. Highly recommend them for any excavating job!

We recently purchased a home and discovered the 100+ ft. sewage line was damaged beyond repair. Although the repair was not cheap, I feel like the company really understood our situation and cut us a massive break. They identified the issue in a timely manner and had their crews out to make the repairs. All of the workers were friendly and did a great job. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

Our sewer has been backing up for a few years requiring at least annual preventative rooter clean outs. This is due to having the dreaded 'orangeburg' sewer pipe. We obtained several bids with Kalin coming in at the lowest. I have to say there was a $5k spread on the bids which was kind of surprising being they were all doing exactly the same thing.
The crew showed up pretty close to the time we were told but it was just a crew of two instead of the normal 3 to 4. As a result things went slower than expected, making the one day project push into the next day. All the work was done

I wish I could give more stars!! Had a plumber to my house who told me our problem would cost us up to $18k...but when JB from Kalin came and looked at it, he told us that we don't need to go to the extreme unless we have to (and told us respectfully how the other bid was WAY too much). Only $1,500 later and a couple repairs to our sewer line, the whole job was done! They were professional, on time, highly skilled, fast working, and VERY reasonably priced...without over reacting to the situation or going to extremes.
