We vacuum form machinable boards and cylinders for applications up to 2200 Celsius in alumina and zirconia chemistries. Choose between 30 lb/ft3, 60 lb/ft3 or our strongest 90 lb/ft3 versions of our zirconia bonded yttria stabilized zirconia fiber boards and cylinders that are easily machined with up to 2200 °C use limit in air.
High temperature bonding for porous zirconia insulation. Bond ZYFB boards and cylinders into larger assemblies, or ZYF and ZY textiles into any shape required. Formulated for the surface hardening of all zirconia fiber products and for use in the fabrication of zirconia composites from Zircar Zirconia's textiles.
A 1700°C programmable sintering furnace with optional datalogger and gas port and slightly larger 1600 °C models. The Hot Spot 110 is offered in two models and can rapidly achieve temperatures up to 1700 °C. The six Hard Cast Heaters used to power this 30" wide x 18" tall x 36" deep front loaded box furnace, are of the embedded wire type.
Zircar Zirconia, Inc. accepts customer drawings or will work with you to develop a professionally drafted drawing of your part. Using our Multicam MG Series CNC Router, with its 5' x 10' bed, we machine both our zirconia and alumina fiber products to tolerances as tight as +/- 0.005.
