Tom Dion's Automotive Repair Co. is located off of Ashton Road between McIntosh and Honore. Turn south onto Ashton Court, and take an immediate right into the parking lot of the first building on the west (right) side of the street. Our office is located in this tan building complex at 5308 Ashton Court.
Your automobile is a valuable asset, which is why you protect it by keeping up with a routine maintenance schedule. Even with that being so, minor issues may result from normal wear and tear on your vehicle. Sometimes these problems are exposed during routine maintenance, which is another reason why it is so important to have regular oil changes and tune-ups on your vehicle.
We were referred to Tom Dion's Automotive by an employee of an Advanced Auto Parts store. We'd gone to several other mechanics for various reasons and quickly learned how shady mechanics can be, especially when they realize that you know nothing about vehicles. Since the first repair Tom did for us, he's done many, many more.

Once my local 'honest' mechanic closed his business, he and his wife referred me to Tom. So glad to have found another 'honest' mechanic who's goal is to help, does quality work inline with having quality experience! I'm not new to needing to have a mechanic, unfortunately I've had to drive older cars most of my life, so I've been 'taken to the bank' in my past and every time I've needed Tom Dion's services, I've left happy, car was fixed, I felt satisfied and still managed to have money left in my 'smaller' bank account - which means a lot to me too!

I have had the privilege of having Tommy as my mechanic for more than a decade. It is refreshing to work with someone who is honest and respectful. He has told me when work is worth fixing and when it is time to let go of my loved vehicle and move on to a new one. I do not know many people willing to be that honest! Frankly, you’d be crazy to go anywhere else in Sarasota. Best customer service of any business in town, period. Tom is conscientious, thorough, prompt, and honorable. Even though I’ve never yet needed any significant work on my old Park Avenue since I began going here, everyone I’ve interacted with has gone above and beyond at every opportunity.

I was referred to Dion's Automotive by my transmission shop. I made an appointment a week in advance, to have them look at my car and give me a quote on several different repairs needed including a new strut, and engine and valve cover gaskets replaced.
I picked up the car two hours later, and Tom was very brief with me, and he gave me no written quote. He told me he would email it to me.
Two weeks later, after leaving a voice message on a Friday (apparently they don't work on Fridays), and leaving a message with someone in the shop who picked up the phone, I have not seen a quote or a return

I have been looking for a honest dependable mechanic and I finally found one. Tom Dions shop fixed my car from which I was having issues with wheel barrings being bad and also had rotors replaced, brakes, calipers and needed new tires. Tom did an excellent job and was very professional. Tom gave me a print out of what he needed to do and price and never went over that price. I really appreciated that. Ive had some bad mechanics who didnt do the job and added more on to what was agreed on but at Tom Dions shop they did exactly what they were supposed to. . I will definitely come back for anything

I just bought a 2006 Volvo from an individual. It needed a wheel alignment, headlight out but bulb was working and putting in spark plugs that I had purchased. Tom was highly recommended by several friends. He quoted me a fair price. I asked him to look car over for any issues and to replace any hoses that needed to be. When I picked up the car, Tom said it didn’t need any further service done to it. He was very honest and professional. Honesty is hard to find these days. Very nice individual. I highly recommend his business for anyone looking for honesty and a great mechanic.
