Our practice has been caring for the families of Snohomish and its surrounding communities for over 50 years. Dr. Jiwon Gwak recently purchased the practice from Dr. Kela Haller Ness. Together, they hope to keep serving the community for many years to come. Keeping a regular preventative maintenance schedule with your hygienist and Dr. Jiwon Gwak and Dr. Kela Ness help you prevent not only tooth decay and periodontal disease but also avoid costly procedures and extra time in the hygiene chair. A regular home prevention routine usually consists of brushing at least twice a day and flossing at least once per day.

Dr. Jiwon and his staff are excellent! They are dedicated to ensuring a great experience for their patients. The doctor was very kind and willing to walk me through all of the details and the cleaning job was extremely thorough. They are one of the best dental practices that I have been to. My sister and I took my dad here today. Their service and care was all around excellent. They were especially accommodating for our dad, who is in a wheelchair. They were so helpful every step of the way. They even provided an easy tip for how to modify his toothbrush so he can grip it better with his partially paralyzed hand. The doctor’s expertise and communication was also top notch. We will for sure be returning for his next dental needs.

I love Snohomish Family Dentistry. Every time I visit I have a blast just catching up with staff. I feel welcomed, safe and fully cared for. Their concern for patients is genuine and it’s hard to find that family-like atmosphere at just any dentist’s office. I would recommend this practice to people who are afraid of going to the dentist because I was once one of them.

After having had horrible dental care from a (quack) in Snohomish I searched out a new dentist. I was reading all the wonderful reviews about Dr. Jiwon and decided to give them a try. Dr. Jiwon and his staff are THE most amazing people ever!! I've been going for a little over a year now and Dr. Jiwon has fixed all the damage caused by the previous dentist. Every time I go into the office all the staff along with Dr. Jiwon treat me like I'm their only patient and have been seeing them for years!! They make you feel so special! Dr JiWon and his staff was amazing! As someone who has had more than her fair share of dental work done, I have more than a moderate amount of dental anxiety. During the more than 2 hour procedure they made sure to explain everything they were doing and made sure I was feeling comfortable the entire time. The office has taken extra Covid-19 related steps to make sure you feel safe at all times. So thankful for the accommodating staff both at the front desk who greeted me with smiles and answered all questions to Dr JiWon and everyone who assisted in the procedure itself with nothing but compassion

Super friendly dentist and staff who immediately make you feel welcomed. I am pregnant and they made sure I was comfortable and not feeling stressed throughout my entire cleaning. I also took my 3 year old daughter here for her first cleaning and cannot say enough kind words about how friendly and patient they were with her. They let her take as long as she needed to get comfortable with the hygienist and the dentist before starting her cleaning and made the whole process as fun and stress free as possible for her.
