Services
Estate planning is important, not just from a legal perspective but also from a personal one. By planning ahead, you can have confidence that your concerns are addressed and the transition for your loved ones is made much easier. Although everyone's wishes and plans are different, every person needs to have a plan.
Buying real estate is a huge financial decision, regardless of whether it is your first home, a new primary residence, a rental property, vacant land, or office or other commercial space. There are important considerations such as whether to work with a real estate agent, whether to purchase title insurance, and whether you should have an attorney at your settlement.
It doesn't matter what type of business you are in or how long you've been in business, it's always useful to have an experienced business attorney advising you. From starting your business to maintaining and building it, there is always a legal question, contract, potential liability, or actual dispute through which a good attorney can guide you.
Change is a part of life. When change has to do with family, it can become even more difficult and confusing and the legal impact more complex. In these cases, the services of an experienced family law attorney can guide you through the unexpected events of life. Our offices handle a variety of family changes including additions to a family through adoption, or other changes that may not be as pleasant such as custody, support, and divorce.
With more than 20 years of legal experience in the Carlisle and Harrisburg area, the Law Offices of Douglas G. Miller can assist you with everything from your estate planning needs, to real estate transactions, and even changes in your business and family. PARKING is free and available off-street immediately behind the building.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
As a Realtor I have found Doug Miller to be very helpful when there are questions I have regarding the real estate law. He's one of my top "go to" attorneys for title insurance because I know that he's willing to talk to my clients if we hit a snag, and he treats them with respect, never talking down to them. - Bill Hench -
