JB's Landscaping, LLC started in 2004 when Jeff Baier, Jr. decided he wanted to pursue his dream of having his own landscaping company. He acquired his Associate's Degree in Landscape Management and Design in 2005 and took off from there.
Since then, he has become certified as an Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) paver installer, certified by the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) as a Segmental Retaining Wall Installer, is a Belgard Authorized Contractor, a Nicolock Hardscape Pro and a certified Techo-Pro by Techo-Bioc.JB's Landscaping also won the 2012 Hardscape North America award for 4,000 square feet or more project.

We filled a 24-foot landscape trailer with physical food donations and raised enough money to donate over 32,000 meals through the Feeding America organization. We also had a contest where anyone who donated $175 or more to our event was entitled to a two-hour lunch with retired NFL Pro Bowl Running Back, Tiki Barber at Blairstown's own Dog House Deli.
The first thing you need to ask is how they prepare for clay soils. When dealing with clay soils, you need to consider a geo-textile, which gets laid on the soil then the base layer on top. This will provide the proper strength to stop any heaving and settling. You should then find out what material is being used for the base.
This past spring we at JB's Landscaping became Belgard Authorized Contractor's, which was a huge honor. Not only that but we are the only landscaper in their area to be Authorized in Paver, Retaining Wall, and Element installation while also being part of the Belgard Preferred Payment Program. The Belgard Preferred Payment Program is something we are really excited about for a few reasons.

Design - We create a design that fits into the topography of your home and blends with its architectural style. Install - We carefully engineer and install these hardscape structures for durable results.

We hired Jeff and crew for snow removal of a private residence. We have had two major storms this winter that have dumped over 12 inches of snow each time. The driveway is plowed in a timely manner and continually maintained so we never lose accessibility of the driveway. Jeff has worked with us on other potential projects and has always shown us professionalism. We have been very pleased and hope to continue to support this local business.

Hired to replace a retaining wall and steps. Was initially told I would have a lot of dirt left over and the area behind the wall would be graded. When there was not enough dirt to grade and fill properly, I was never consulted and the area behind the retaining wall was left poorly graded, large empty spots and pretty much a mess. Had anyone asked, I would have been able to approve additional material. Just seemed like they were in a rush to finish. When I contacted them, I was told to read my contract. Never again!
