Dennis is the owner of Huron Valley Rehab and has over 18 years of physical therapy experience. He lives in Royal Oak with his wife, daughter and his miniature Schnauzer. Dennis is not only passionate about helping people live pain-free lives but also about educating them to understand why they are experiencing pain in the first place.
Motor vehicle accidents are a leading cause of injuries. Just alone in 2012, there were over 5 million motor vehicle accidents in the country. The damage after a car accident can be immense. There are both fatalities and injuries. An accident injury from a car wreck can vary from person to person, but the experts at Huron Valley Rehab can get you moving again!
There are a number of reasons why neck pain may occur. When you experience neck pain, it typically can run from the base of your skull to the top of your shoulder blades, finally settling in the back of the neck. The pain may vary in severity, from a constant dull ache to sharp and stabbing pains.
According to the American Physical Therapy Association, back pain is the most commonly reported pain across the nation, and one out of every four Americans has experienced back pain in the past three months. Back pain and sciatica differ but are often confused with each other. Back is specific to the upper, middle or lower back.
The complexities of the shoulder joint present many opportunities for pain-causing conditions. Impingement typically occurs because of abnormal movement and tracking of the humeral head as you lift your arm overhead. Pain typically starts when lifting your arm at or above 90 degrees. The two main forms of arthritis that affect the shoulder are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

I sprained my ankle running and I kept re injuring it. I needed help but wanted to avoid the big crazy health care places due to covid. I found Huron Valley Rehab based on other reviews. I had the place to myself for the whole session. When they say private one on one care they mean it. Dr. Dennis is an expert. He knew what was wrong and how to treat my ankle so that I can run again and not worry about my previous injury. I highly recommend Dr. Dennis Hessell and Huron Valley Rehab!

I've been to therapy before-at the hospital and some of the big chain clinics all very dissapointing-but I have never worked with someone as great as Dr. Dennis. He really cares about his patients, spends quality one on one time with you. I feel amazing again! When you go to physical therapy you should be seeing a physical therapist. I highly recommend his services he will get you better!

I sprained my ankle while playing soccer. I came to see Dr. Dennis based on the recommendation from my foot doctor. I highly recommend this PT clinic. He offers one on one care, knows what he is doing offers late hours after work its easy to get to right next to my gym. I hope I don't get hurt again but if I do I will go see Dr. Dennis at Huron Valley Rehab. You should too!
