I'd bought several dried fruits from them that were perfectly edible, but my last order of organic dried apricots was awful - dry as bone and with, I imagine, all the sweet taste of cardboard. I realize that dried fruit is supposed to be dry, but these were way beyond the pale and almost as though they were leftovers from the prior year. Roughly $100 worth of fruit tossed because not only were they tasteless, but I had a genuine concern about breaking a tooth because the fruit was so dessicated and hard.

Excellent dried fruit. It all pure, no sugar. In my opinion, its some of the best quality, delicious dried fruit that can be found anywhere in the world. Can be stored in the refrigerator once opened and keeps for a very long time, staying nice and fresh. Love the mangos most of all, my favorite. Tart, yet sweet. Packed full of nutrition. Without a doubt, this is some of the most delicious dried fruit I have ever eaten. As tasty as nutritious. And aside from the taste, you can tell just by looking that these are high quality products. I so appreciate having dried fruit on hand - zero spoilage, zero waste, and ultimately more affordable since you are essentially buying fresh fruit in bulk. I wrote 5 or so reviews for their products. They were honest and only one was five stars (the strawberries). I realize now, after spending a lot of money and trying their "5-star fruit" that they are deleting all of the reviews they don't like. I was wondering why the kiwis, which are almost inedible, had five stars. Or the orange slices that were clearly very old had five stars. Or, the peaches that were dried before they were ripe were five stars. This was my first purchase at Bella Viva. I purchased a 5lb bag of organic walnuts. These are, by far, the best walnuts I've had. And I was a regular customer of another site that sells organic nuts but I will now be a regular Bella Viva customer. The packaging was not fancy like the other place but the prices were a little lower and the quality of the organic walnuts is far superior.

I absolutely love these dried fruits! I have an allergy to sulfa so I am very limited to what dried fruits I can eat. I was soooo pleased to see on the front of the package that they were sulfa free. All of the choices I have tried have been delicious but the white peaches are my favorite. THANK YOU BELLA VIVA!!

I am extremely pleased with my online purchase from BellaViva. First, their customer service person was super helpful when I called them the same day I placed my online order. She told me exactly how long it would take to get my products and what to write in the Comments field to ensure my package arrives before I need it. Their online ordering was also very easy. I'm munching on the Dried Pears. Nothing in the bag but pears. No sugar, no artificial anything. Just pears. Delicious. Got them on sale at TJ Maxx in Boston to try out and they are an amazing snack for someone who is transitioning off of refined sugars. Try now! Yum. Just hope I don't overeat!

I discovered Bella Viva's dried fruits at Dean and DeLuca in Napa Valley and kept thinking about how delicious they were. I decided that rather than buy through Dean and DeLuca I would go to the source of the fruit -- and found Bella Viva Orchards on line. I ordered over 40 gifts from them this year -- the California assortment of dried fruits, lightly salted almonds and pistachios. Outstanding. I love and eat a lot of dried fruit and was impressed by the quality of the fruit I ordered. I am loving the persimmons, and the cherries are super tasty - and even more so, knowing that they have no sugar added. I also ordered almonds, apricots and blueberries - all very tasty. Bella Viva is yet another amazing fruit stand at the Ferry Building Farmer's Market. They provide endless dried fruit choices. Apples, nectarines, peaches, raisins, figs, apricots, pluots...all free to taste! My favorites are the white nectarines. They are soft & chewy & I can barely get back to my office without eating the whole bag. They are perfect for baking (scones are a favorite weekend treat of mine) or just plain snacking. You could mix & match & make a yummy trail mix too.

I've ordered from them twice to deliver to my mother, recently for mother's day and once previously for her birthday. Besides money, it's very difficult to send my parents anything because they live in a remote town with no access for UPS. So this is one of the few places that allow you to send via USPS. Their service has been fantastic and they always respond quickly to my e-mail inquiries. My mother loves their dried fruit, especially the persimmons and mangoes.
