I started my career with State Farm in the summer of 1989, 32 years ago. As a licensed Agent, I market and service customers who live throughout Nebraska and Iowa. As a multi-line agency, we help customers with auto, motorcycle, home, condo, renters, boat, small business, and life insurance. I grew up in the small town of Schuyler, located about 60 miles west of Omaha.
After graduation, I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I walked on to the UNL baseball team, where I learned the importance of a strong work ethic and teamwork. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Business Education, I went to work with State Farm. My early years at State Farm involved helping State Farm customers recover from storm losses, house fires, earthquakes, and hurricanes, as well as significant automobile losses.

Matt Helmberger was very patient in the process of switching insurance providers. I’ve always thought of Statefarm as the gold standard when buying insurance. To my surprise they beat out the competition’s insurance quotes. I’d recommend Matt to anyone looking to switch, due to increases, or poor customer service.

I have been a State Farm customer for almost 30 years, and Doug and Matt are the best agents I have worked with for my insurance needs. I recently purchased a new home and needed flood insurance. Doug and Matt did not let me down - they answered all of my questions and worked with my mortgage company to get me the insurance I needed. I definitely recommend this agency.

I was recently in the market for auto insurance and seeking a better rate than I previously had. I was with State Farm a few years ago and have recently switched back. Cannon was really helpful and very informative. He got me a far superior rate than I had with my other insurance company. It was well worth the time and money to switch.

Absolutely awesome! Matt is so easy to work with and very responsive. Worked around our schedules and checked back with us when I was returning home from a trip. I would 10/10 recommend Doug Hailey State Farm in Papillion!! I’ve had a wonderful experience with them. Matt has been super helpful and is always quick to get back to you and puts ya on the right path to success!! Also, they have cute dogs in their office and are great great great people to work with!!!
