Carrollton, Georgia, is home to many historic commercial buildings with exciting histories and beautiful design. Many need a little tender loving care to be brought back to the glory of years past. Upon moving to Carrollton in 2001, I took on the renovation of one such building that my husband Tom and I purchased.
Over the past hundred years, it has housed a variety of storefront businesses. Today, our two businesses occupy the first floor, Tom Nielsen Fine Art-an art studio and gallery showcasing Tom's work as well as The Design Group. On the second floor you'll find our loft apartment, which makes the work commute take about a minute!

Services
The Design Group is a boutique interior design firm with over 20 years of experience in interior design, spatial planning and decorating for both commercial and residential spaces. We focus on offering our interior design services to the Atlanta, Carrollton, Newnan and Peachtree City areas and we would love to be a part of your next project.
Our rates are custom quoted based on an initial consultation meeting. We charge an hourly rate or a negotiated percent of the project budget. The plan of action can consist of paint colors, room balancing, accessorizing, fabrics, furniture choices, flooring, renovations and window treatments. Travel time, in the areas of Carrollton, Newnan and Peachtree City is included in the charges, areas of Atlanta will be additional.
