We at MC Cycle & Sport have been in business for over a decade - still providing the Lakes Region with quality service, and the best bikes, clothing, shoes, and accessories you can find! Our start came in 2004, a humble beginning in a small lot on Canal Street in downtown Laconia.
After 5 years, it was quite obvious that an expansion was necessary, so we opened our Main Street side, effectively doubling our square footage, and ability to provide our customers with twice the product!Fast forward to today. All good businesses change over time. With our roots still firmly entrenched in the road and triathlon side of cycling, we have diversified once again into the family and mountain bike side of the sport!

Looked well organized and cool from the outside... The door was open, with 4 customers inside, and the owner said "we're actually closed til noon". The funny thing is that the customers inside didn't realize they were closed either and apologized and walked out as we did. It was actually kind of comical!

I took my bike in this afternoon, because though I would adjust my bicycle's seat to the proper height, it would slowly and sometimes not so slowly slip back down to the lowest position. Owen took care of it in about 10 minutes and also reattached a little cover on one of the gear levers. The seat is fixed and I was and am extremely pleased with the service.

Great service. I have a downhill mountain bike that needed a tune up. The quote matched the final bill. No funny business. They opened up 10 minutes early to let me in b/c I was on my lunch break. Great notes and solid advice came free of charge. I will be back. I haven't heard a bad word about these folks. MC is part of the revitalization of downtown Laconia and doing a great job in my opinion. Keep it up!

Thanks to MC Cycle and Sport, my husband and I were able to bike the WOW and Winnesquam Scenic Trail yesterday! When we arrived at the trail, we discovered we had a flat, did a quick google search and drove over and MC Cycle and Sport fixed our flat quickly so we could get out to the trail!! Very Friendly and Professional! Thanks for making our Day and our vacation!!!

I have been a cyclists for 20 years, lived in many different cities in US and other parts of the world, I have used many bike shops, but MC Cycles is by far the very best bike repair shop I have encountered. Utilized their offsite services at Ironman 70.3 Timberman. To say the least, they are the worst bike shop mechanics I have ever worked with. The only sweet person was the lady running the register. They tried to tell me my crank was too short and reattached my derailleur in a prone position causing a chain to snap the next day. When I told them it was wrong and called my mechanic to collaborate, they HUNG UP ON HIM. This is deplorable, do not trade here, drive further away!

My husband and I both bought Felt bicycles here earlier this summer. Both Miles and Cale were patient and took the time to acquaint us with the different options over several visits while we were looking. When it came to ordering the bicycles Miles sized each of us and ordered the bikes for us. Once the bikes arrived the staff at MC Cycle assembled them and then fitted us to the bikes when we came to pick them up.
