Dr. Alex grew up in Michigan in a household with appreciation for health with a mother who was a nutritionist. Through his love of sports, he became increasingly interested in the human body and what it's capable of. In attempts to understand the body better and overall health, he decided to enter into the chiropractic world.

I’m not an average person when it comes to personal health. I’m a 53-year-old bodybuilder that puts daily stress on my body from my workouts. So, I’m always looking for ways to heal myself faster for the next workout. I’ve been seeing Dr. Alex for a few years now. I started with (TRT) Torque Release Technique but moved back to the old chiropractic standard of drop technique and spinal manipulation. What I like to call the crack and snap. I just like it. I also get dry needling with electricity which I love. My workouts can be intense. Dry needling with electricity will break up muscle knotting

So I came to Awaken Chiropractic for some neck pain and tension headaches after sleeping weird and was pleasantly surprised that after only one adjustment, my pain and headache went away! My honey and I met Dr. Alex at the Parker Farmer's Market over 4th of July weekend. We explained that we were from out of town and visiting family for the entire month of July (we visit Parker for and extended period about 4x per year) and were seeing chiros regularly back home.

I've been going here for 3 months now. Prefer this adjustment method as I am not a fan of the twisting, cracking & popping. The TRT method has been more precise for me. My headaches are reduced & I have far less back pain then I did prior to starting care. They take UHC, have early & late office hours and have an unlimited adjustment plan!

Came to Alex under the pressure of a significant other, who had grown tired of the complaints of my aches and pain. I do not like medical facilities (white coat syndrome) and was very hesitant to go, but I too was tired of the aches and pains. I was a carpenter for about 15 years and also suffered from a really bad motorcycle accident in the past. My current role requires a lot of travel, this too was causing much discomfort as I'm fairly broad chested and would often have to lean to not bother my neighbor on flights. I had a back injury over a year ago, and as a result I had very bad sciatica. It was the worst pain I have ever been in. I met Dr. Alex outside of Wal-Mart, and after a conversation I decided to give it a shot. When I went to the office, I was given the most comprehensive medical exam I have ever had. He took x-rays to ensure he knew exactly what… the problem was, and exactly where to adjust. In just one visit my pain was reduced by about 80%, and after my third, I am 100% pain free and have been going for a little over two months now. I am so grateful for Dr. Alex, and the care he provides
