I have been in contact with one of their employees since mid-November. We have had multiple conversations about what lap equipment I am trying to sell and where I am located. I was consistently reassured that they were interested in buying our equipment. I was then ignored and passed off between people for over a week just to be told my equipment isn’t worth it for them, no thanks. I have less than a week to find someone else to sell the equipment to. I would have appreciated some honesty up front so I wouldn’t find myself currently screwed over like I am now.

Update: Surplus reached out and worked with us on a solution and will be providing a replacement. We appreciate the customer service and willingness to work with us.
We purchased a Corning Hot Plate stirrer from Surplus that arrived with the entire motor mechanism for the stirring being corroded nearly beyond recognition. When I contacted the company for some sort of assistance with a unit arriving dead on arrival, I was told that there were no known issues at the facility. As seen in the photo, this level of corrosion does not occur during shipping.

Online auctions are easy to navigate and bid on and the sales team in general is great to work with. Pickup is smooth as the warehouse staff is accommodating and friendly. Dishonest! I bought a scale from them, at first it was showed with accessories; upon purchase, they refuse to release the cables and the accessories. Unreliable and unhelpful customer service, no calls returned, they even refused to give the AC specifics. STAY AWAY! Later, I found another place where they sell the same item for a fraction of the price. Obviously, SSLLC refused to refund me. WORST EXPERIENCE
