A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.

Panoramic X-rays (also known as Panorex(R) or orthopantomograms) are wraparound photographs of the face and teeth. They offer a view that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye. X-rays in general, expose hidden structures, such as wisdom teeth, reveal preliminary signs of cavities, and also show fractures and bone loss.

Speaking of my own experience with the Perrino office they were absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, any questions i had were answered with confidence and they treat you as if your family. Its location is very well and is not super busy area. Dr. Dave and Dr. Mike are ALWAYS very professional and take the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. The receptionist is also fantastic and makes scheduling appointments a breeze, and has an excellent handle on insurance. I also love the text reminders for appointments so I don't forget.

It was a great experience. I felt comfortable and confident in the dentist and dental assistant. Considering it was my first visit to the dentist after 4 years, I was nervous about what I would be told. But, the dentist was kind and positive. Our family has been going to Dr Michael Perrino since 1987 and have had nothing but a positive experience. His son, David has now joined the practice and we have all now had him provide care to us. He, like his father is professional and very personable. His wife Carol who works at the front desk along with the other receptionists as well as the hygienists are always friendly and take good care of you. This is a family practice. They chat with you, ask about your family and you know that they actually know you....it's like going to see a friend every six months when you have your appointment. We
