Hands down this is the best shoe store in Northern Michigan. Why? The staff is always knowledgeable on the product, just look at what they are wearing, they love to talk about their shoes. I had an excellent experience here. They have a wonderful selection for all ages and their staff weren't just helpful and friendly, but very knowledgeable as well.

I've been here a few times and the staff are very friendly. We were here this past Saturday around 445pm. They were closing at 5pm that night, but they were more than gracious and patient in finding the correct size Big Boots for my son. We were able to get in and buy it real quick and get out before they closed. I never felt rushed by the employees. Would definitely shop here again

You wouldn’t allow our handicapped daughter who is restricted to a wheelchair, but has oral aversion and will not wear a mask in your store on Friday. In this day where we are trying to NOT practice discriminatory behavior, and especially not teach it to our children, you are doing just that. I’m so disgusted. I have spent thousands of dollars in your store over the past several years, and all four of our children needed shoes. You lost out in hundreds of dollars in sales by having such terrible store policies. Discrimination is not welcome, especially to the disabled, in today’s society

They are discriminating against people with different abilities. They refused to allow a wheelchair bound child with CP and other issues into their store to shop because she was unable to wear a mask. They claim that they offered a separate hour after hours, but the did not. As a parent of a person who has multiple different abilities and is… unable to wear a mask, this is wrong. This information has been posted on multiple fb pages for people with different abilities and their families to be aware to boycott this store.

We were told that in order to go into the store, I would have to put a mask on my 18-month old or "cover her with a blanket". I am all for safety during this time, but it was absolutely ridiculous and doesn't follow CDC guidelines. There is no getting a young toddler to wear a mask and I'm definitely not going to cover her with a blanket.... Needless to say, we left. I will not be giving my business to them.

a local shop. Great shoe selection, but disappointed in the past 2 visits in. Wasn't greeted when we walked in and stood around for several minutes before we had to ask the girl behind the counter if we could be assisted with a pair of shoes. Shoes were brought, didn't fit, and we sat waiting to be assisted while a girl sat behind the counter playing on her phone. So not really sure if they're interested in actually selling shoes?

Purchased expensive shoes on the sale rack. Put them on and immediately noticed something wrong. The right shoe was sewn too tightly against the toes, an obvious defective shoe. Attempted to return them less than 30 minutes after purchase and they would only offer me 90% store credit in return. Sure there is a sign that says all sales final, but for defective shoes that they should send back? I would have taken the 90% credit and walked out barefoot, but nope only store credit for refund.
It takes a lot for a store to get on my permanent ban / never shopping again list. Congratulations
