Our customer wanted to transform a dull basement space from a perennially-wet area to a high class entertainment space. Two distinct spaces were created from one large room, one a media entertainment room and the other a billiard room. We also installed a 150 gallon fish tank into the wall and created custom cabinetry for a wet bar, media components and fish tank.
These pictures show the before and after of a project in which the chimney had mold in and around the chimney area. The entire chimney was taken down and replaced with a new fireplace insert. The fireplace mantle was given a whole new look which brightened the entire room. The homeowners couldn't have been happier with the results or the transformation made both inside as well as outside their home - PLUS no more mold!

This company is fantastic and highly recommend them. They came out to our house immediately, at night, when we had a significant water event in the house that impacted all three floors. They acted quickly which ultimately saved us from having a tremendous amount of damage. The team was courteous, professional, and thorough. Will definitely use them again if needed.

Incredible team able to solve all insurance problems and deal with difficult appraisers! Able to move project forward that had stalled for 12 months. Great dealings with City Inspectors and very knowledgeable about current codes and alternative suggestions for solutions. Superb sub-contractors all throughout the project. Having thigs go wrong in our home twice in the same year wasn't great but MA Restoration certainly helped ease the pain. I've been in construction most of my life and MAR was first class and top notch in the work they did and how they communicate. I think using them twice in the same year says it all but just in case it doesn't I want to give them a raving review and say that you can't do any better than this organization. We've had Mark do two projects for us in recent years and we are currently in the middle of a third. Mark does quality work and is very professional. I feel the pricing is very fair given the level of work that he does. You won't get fly by night pricing (and poor quality work) from Mark. I appreciate that he works so hard to keep projects running on schedule. We had him renovate the only bathroom in our house and it only took 5 days from demo to having a usable bathroom again. Highly recommend!

These guys have been my go to for years. Originally a cabinet maker, owner Mark Johnson crafted several built in media centers in our Weston home. He also built a few stand alone cabinets. He and his crew were the contractors on a gut rehab of our kitchen in 2008. Finished in precisely in the time frame quoted. After the disastrous winter of 2015 we had significant water damage. He worked seamlessly with our insurance adjustor and all work was done expertly within the time quoted. We had another water damage issue in 2016. This guy is a rip off artist. I had some water spilt on my floor, 4 gallons from my toddler. I called MA restorations to see about drying it. He came looked at it and said there was nothing he could do, we would have to take out all our cabinets and remove the whole floor ( the floor is 6 months old ). Otherwise it will get moldy and stay warped. 4 days later the floor has gone back to normal and no warping or cupping at all.

Mark Johnson and his crew did an amazing job on my ice dam issue at my house. I was limited for time since I was selling my home and he was able to get it all done in a very limited time. I can't tell you how much I appreciated the hard work, special detail and complete integrity of preserving our home for the new owners. That was critical to us. I could not be more pleased at the work performed and would not recommend anyone else for water damage and/or the restoration of a home.
